My Ford account - Error Has Occurred

I have not been able to login since July. They told me I have a corrupt account but they don't want to try to fix it because if they do they may blow away my reservation. They told me they would fix it after my order is in, which really does not help me a great deal. Took me 6 months to finally get an honest answer.

I finally got in with the work computer . It uses MS Edge but the first time I tried I received the same error mssg . I feel better now . On another note , I was building a Ranger Tremor and may go to the dealership Monday and see what I can work out for an interm vehicle since I sold the King Ranch too early . Maybe i could talk the wife into keeping the Ranger when the Bronco arrives ..

I tried pricing out a Lincoln and for a solid month it wouldn't accept any ZIP as valid, and wouldn't let you B&P without it.

My zip code starts with a zero... take a guess at what happens when a lazy website programmer lets number fields drop leading zeros.

My wife is dutch.... take a guess at what happens when a computer system insists last names must be a single word or always start with a capital letter. This seems to particularly be a problem at car dealerships for some reason.

Her last name is "van der Velden". We've seen her info in computer systems under:

"van der Velden" (at the beginning of the "va" section)
"van der Velden" (at the beginning of the "ve" section)
"van der Velden" (at the top of the list before the capital "A")
"Vandervelden"
"Velden"
"Van"
"Dervelden"

Employee: "Last name?"
My Wife: "How is your computer system programmed to function, and how clever/stupid is the person who enters names?"

Oh trust me, Wisconsin has their fair share of van der Blanks and it always confuses systems.
Speaking of leading 0s, the safety orientation I tried taking this past week wanted you to select a secret pin and highly recommended the last 6 digits of your SSN. It took way too long to figure out it kept rejecting my PIN because the 'last 6' of mine starts with a 0.

We give Ford crap but there can be a LOT of special cases to check for.

My dealer just called and got my order sent to him and he is placing it as we speak . They do not require us to come in due to the covid going on but I said I would see him on Monday when I'm off work . Just waiting on the Ford email right now . He said they had 80 reservations and I was # 30 .
