My impressions of Area 51 and Cactus Gray (on Bronco SPORT)

I stopped by my local dealer this weekend to see what they had for bronco sports. They had a nice white one on the pedestal on their lot corner. Salesguy runs out and tells us there are two more in the back of the lot. A51 and cactus grey.

Both colors are super nice. The available light plays with both of these colors a LOT. more so the cactus grey. The closeup shot is as close to what my eye saw this color to be. Pull back from it and the green/blue tint jumps out a bit.

I think both colors look great for anyone on the fence.

My Escape needs to be replaced and I think I'm going to spring for a Bronco Sport Badlands in Cactus Grey. It'll pair well with my 2DR big Badlands in CO I plan to order in January.

Talking to my dealer today about the Sport. Excited!

I just have to Cactus Gray in person. Those pictures look how I had hoped they would from the beginning, but who knows if it's my monitor or what. Thanks for the pictures!

But do you feel the "green tint" jumped out in real life or just on the camera. For me, I didn't see a bit of green with my naked eye from any distance. Still thought it was a nice color, but didn't catch any green.

I think the CG will look great with the Black Diamond's seats and blue accent. Kinda like this Lamborghini

Thinking that maybe a topless Cactus Grey Black Diamond, with Black Marine Vinyl seats and blue accents, will look as pleasing (but not quite as cool) as this new Lamborghini SC20.

I felt that there was a sight blu green tint/ element to it. Not a hardline green per se but that it didn’t really materialize until you back away from it. At least that’s how these old eyes saw it.

For anyone in the Southern NJ area, Holman in Maple Shade has 2 Bronco Sports on the lot as customer courtesy cars - one is Area 51 (the other Kokiak Brown, so don't really care) and so we stopped to get a look at it. It was a Big Bend, I think (would have liked to see a Badlands) and it seemed very nice, though very small. I was primarily interested in getting a first hand view of A51, as that is at the top of my list, and I was not disappointed. The color in the pic by the OP seems very representative of what I saw, in reasonably sunny and clear conditions. It was NOT anything approaching "robin's egg blue' as I saw in one commentary. My wife felt it looked more like 'steel blue' to her, but there are a lot of versions of that out there. I think it is a color that the MIC top will work well with, along with the optional wheels from the Badlands, if that become possible when the real B&P comes out for the dealer, if I go with the OB.
