My order converted to 2022 yesterday....

Called my sales rep yesterday to get my order converted to a 2022. I originally ordered a 2021 Badlands 2 Dr, Velocity Blue, trailer package and door keypad. Well, even though it's in the order sheet, my salesman said Ford sent a memo that there will be no blue in 2022, so if that's the case, hot pepper red is my next choice, $295 more, my hd modular bumper standard in '21 is now a $575 option, damn! And if you ordered or reserved after March of last year you will see a 2022 price hike as well, fabulous!

John, your sales guy must not know what he's talking about. Velocity Blus is still available. If your initial '21 order was in before 03/19/21 you have price protection, and if your order was in at sometime (I can't remember the exact date) you will receive a voucher for the bumper to be used at the time of delivery. Hopefully someone will come along with the date.

It's actually if you had a reservation or order by 3/19/2021 you will be price protected based on what your order was on 10/1/2021.

Also there is still Velocity Blue. Antimatter Blue and Lightning Blue (FE only color) were the ones removed for 2022.

Thanks, got my order confirmation 2022, and yes it is velocity blue. Did not order before 3/19/21 so not price protected. Did not know about the voucher for the bumper, will check on that. I did not reserve, I direct ordered the truck through my dealer 8/28/2021.

Good deal John. That voucher may also be a dated thing, but you never know until you look. As far as price protection I'm fairly sure mine will run out before I get my Bronco. The way Ford changed the allocations formula for '22 has put me in the back seat.
