Any special adhesive for the terminal? Also just a basic one off Amazon or Home Depot?did add a 6 position terminal strip for the factory auxiliary switches.
Thanks. I just used a basic 35Amp one from Amazon. It has a snap on cover to protect the terminals incase I do something stupid while under the hood. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B24FZWPH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1Any special adhesive for the terminal? Thanks and sorry if you already mentioned. I’ve been plowing through your journey. Super helpful.
Thanks. I wiled the fogs to the factory fog switch. The combos are to switch #2. I used Forscan to have the fogs come on with the turn signal or when turning the steering wheel. The DD Fogs are much brighter than the factory but then I ordered the MAX so one would expect that.Hi - love your build. I just got a obx sas/lux and ordered 4x4truckled dynamo diode fog lights. Did you install all three lights into three aux switches, or did you pigtail one into the existing fog wiring, get a new interior light switch with fog, and update via forscan. I am trying to decide if it is worth it to do the latter for one of the fogs, so just asking to see what other folks with the same kit did.
The KR Offroad mount, easy install and it actually took me longer to wire than install the compressor/mount.Can I ask what mount you used for the compressor?
can you share the link to the aux switch block you used?As I mentioned, now that I have finished my build-up and going over my initial list, I’m looking back at the items I added and the reason for the additions.
- Floor Mats – I like the OEM mats that came with my HE but they really did not provide the protection I needed when hunting. The Husky mats fill the bill here.
- Aux Switch Block -Made it so much easier to wire and in a couple of instances I changed my mind on what was wired to what switch. Just moved them around as needed on the block, no wire cutting was involved.
- ARB Under Hood Twin Air Compressor – Didn’t think I would go this route since I have a good 12V portable. The ARB cut my air-up time in half (or less) and freed up space in the cab.
- M2M Box – Mounted it to the rear Molle and used it for dog training dummies in the summer and additional shotgun shell storage during the season. Great addition.
- M2M Attic Shelf – One of my better decisions IMO. What was wasted space stores my 2 handheld GMRS radios, hoses for airing back up when I leave the trail, dog first aid kit, extra leashes and light rain jacket.
- Magnetic Mic – Decided to change out my Garmin 200i mount to the Magnetic Mic mount as I already have the Garmin Tread GPS mounted and didn’t really need another GPS mounted on the dash but I did need to mount the mic.
Yep....can you share the link to the aux switch block you used?
