So went on a Badlands 4 door MT ride today. My son and I and my Brother in Law went along. Our driver was awesome.

It was raining when we went so a lot of the trails were unusable for safety reasons. I made my brother n law sit in the back as he was just a tag along. I’m getting a bronco he is not. I did it for a reason and it worked out perfectly. He’s 6’4” and our driver was 6”2” he was sitting behind the driver. He had plenty of room in the back seat as far as leg space goes and when we got onto the trail he said his head never came close to hitting the roof. He owns a JK Wrangler and he was much more impressed with how much more room is in the Bronco than his Jeep. He can’t sit in the back seat of the Jeep.

My son had a very different experience he also had plenty of room. He had a blast on the trail and he really loved the sway bar disconnect. Ford has really knocked it out of the park with this vehicle.

I am more excited than i have ever been to get my Bronco. This ride was supposed to help take the edge off while I wait for my Bronco. It did the opposite I can’t wait.

All 3 of my kids fit in the back seat very comfortably. This thing is comfy anywhere you sit. I sat in both 2 and 4 door. MGV seats are way better than Leather IMO.

truly and amazing experience.

Great review! Thanks.

The picture of your kid with the Bronco sticker on her forehead reminds me of how I think most of us on this forum are. LOL

So how are the MGV seats way better than leather?
To me they felt better and looked better overall. The leather felt harder and stiffer. The MGV had a little give to it and it was smooth and soft feeling. All my own opinion. You may have a different one.

The Badlands with the 2.7 motor , was it impressive ?
I rode in a Badlands 4 door with 2.7 in Moab. It MOVES. We pulled onto the highway and he stepped on it a bit in the left turn and we took off. The shift points in sand mode are perfect, especially when slowing, it downshifts to help. These things eat up near everything they encounter, I was shocked at it's capability and speed on trail. Moab is at 4,000+ feet, so if you live near sea level, I assume it will be a bit quicker.

Agree with you 100%. I have been at Supercel the last two days and took a ride in this exact same Bronco today. 2.3L plenty of power for the average guy. The MGV seats are more comfortable than leather or cloth. Extremely plush and you sink into them nicely. In fact, the MGV seats are the most comfortable auto seats I've ever sat in and that's saying a lot since I'm an old man. They have a real soft feel to them while also feeling durable.
