Per Friday's FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin) below is the scheduling and production timetable for the 2021/2022MY Bronco.

  • 09/03/2021 - 2021MY Fleet Final Order Date
  • 09/23/2021 - 2021MY Last Day to Spec Change
  • 12/10/2021 - 2021MY Balance Out Date

  • 09/13/2021 - 2022MY Order Bank Open Date
  • 10/14/2021 - 2022MY Scheduling Begins
  • 12/13/2021 - 2022MY Job #1 Date

  • From this past Friday-
  • Those dates are still valid per the latest FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin) where Ford releases the production timetables for all vehicles. If there's a change, it'll be listed in a future FDNB which is released on Friday's and available by Monday mornings. I post the updates as they're available.
I have been tracking this, but my salesman/dealer contact told me that this fleet info is not the same as retail info and that these dates are not "correct". As of last week (mid week) he checked in with his GM & then they called their Ford regional rep - all finding this was incorrect & they had no actual dates for Bronco MY22 ordering.

But also, I'm not sure what type of business has a fleet of Broncos, but I need to find out!

The communication sent out to dealers at the end of August said orders would open in WBDO (dealer ordering system) Q4 this year.

So… October maybe??

I’m still hoping we get an order guide today.
Q4, in Ford-speak that means December 31

Even if I have a reservation for bronco 21” ?

Pretty sure we do. If you have a order placed you need to reorder from my understanding.

No, your reservation for the MY21 will carry over and you won't need to put in another reservation. However, if you are talking orders, then yes, you will need to place another order for the MY22. In any case, work with your dealer.

I don’t think so, if you have an order in you’ll likely have to reorder for a 22, but your reservation and time stamp should remain.

"By September"
For those that don’t speak fluent “Ford“ that translates to “Maybe October…..Oh Look! Swag!”

Yeah, you could not order as of last week. I am in the process of putting an order in. It will be 9 months once order is entered according to dealer

Mr Levine said Q4. I’d expect it’s still a month away.

I emailed my dealer last week about when they open so I could make any changes to my order for MY22, I was asked what changes I wanted to make for MY22 because the order banks were open. Which makes zero sense to me and I think they are dead wrong.

I just called three different Ford dealers in the Los Angeles area and got 3 different answers. The first dealer said they think order bank for MY22 will open early to mid November and said that I could send them my build and pay the $1000 reservation fee now. The second dealer said they still thought order bank would open this month and noted that often times customers have more up to date information than dealers. The third dealer said that once the announcement is official from Ford, reservation holders would get emails from Ford to go to their local dealer to convert the reservation into an order and they had no idea of when that would be.

As expected, it seems like there is no real consensus on when MY22 order bank is gonna go down. The first dealer seemed overly eager to take a deposit and build details even though there is no official way to place an order. They also predicted that an order in November would lead to a June/July 2022 delivery. The second dealer had an Bronco specialist who seemed to have little to no idea what was going on. The third dealer didn't comprehend that I already had a reservation and was waiting for the MY22 order bank to open so that I could convert a reservation into an order.

Three different responses, none of which gave me any sort of confidence that they were a trusthworthy dealer to conduct business with.

Does anyone have any SoCal dealer/sales reps that they would highly recommend for this process moving forward?
