My dealership told me, in person, today. But, for that not to pan out is expected.

Now that the 13th of September is here, and as expected, MY2022 ordering is not open. Is there any more definent time other than late September or October.
I don’t believe there was ever an expectation for it to be earlier than October based on previous statements from Ford / Ford reps.

I just called three different Ford dealers in the Los Angeles area and got 3 different answers. The first dealer said they think order bank for MY22 will open early to mid November and said that I could send them my build and pay the $1000 reservation fee now. The second dealer said they still thought order bank would open this month and noted that often times customers have more up to date information than dealers. The third dealer said that once the announcement is official from Ford, reservation holders would get emails from Ford to go to their local dealer to convert the reservation into an order and they had no idea of when that would be.

As expected, it seems like there is no real consensus on when MY22 order bank is gonna go down. The first dealer seemed overly eager to take a deposit and build details even though there is no official way to place an order. They also predicted that an order in November would lead to a June/July 2022 delivery. The second dealer had an Bronco specialist who seemed to have little to no idea what was going on. The third dealer didn't comprehend that I already had a reservation and was waiting for the MY22 order bank to open so that I could convert a reservation into an order.

Three different responses, none of which gave me any sort of confidence that they were a trusthworthy dealer to conduct business with.

Does anyone have any SoCal dealer/sales reps that they would highly recommend for this process moving forward?
I am working with a SoCal dealer that I really like at Galpin. He's not the most knowledgable but is fairly responsive, a nice guy and has confirmed no dealer ADM. Happy to send you his info if you PM me.

Was one of these dealers Galpin? If so, what information did they have?

Agree, based on the recent statements/releases, I thought it was quite clear that the September 13th date was no longer, and that it will happen in October.

Worked as a few Ford dealers over the years, and a few other mnfr dealers.

The majority of car salesmen don't know shit about new cars. I used to make a decent amount of money on the side doing other salespeoples' yearly product knowledge tests for them. My GSM encouraged it too.

I would wager 100% of daily B6G visitors know more about Broncos that 99% of Ford dealer's "Bronco Specialists". Hell, I'd wager 50% of daily B6G visitors know more about F-150s than the average Ford sales person.

I just had a lengthy conversation with a delightful representative from Ford's corporate helpline. She said the latest information from Ford management is that they still expect the MY22 order bank to open around mid October. As expected, we should keep our eyes peeled for the official Ford website to change the B&P interface to MY22 around the same time. The major factor in delivery priority will still be time of reservation, although other factors will include any parts constraints and number of allocations to your specified dealer.

For further reference, the most reliable public source of information is through the Ford Bronco Helpline, and that number is 1-800-334-4375.

From my understanding, the main hold up has been the MIC tops. They have those for the most part worked out. Once, Ford starts building they could literally be caught up with 4-5 months time. They have to hit their production targets though. They could literally build 20K plus a month at full Bronco production.

I had a lengthy conversation with a representative from Ford’s corporate helpline back in April, and every bit of info they provided concerning MY 22 ordering and B&P has proven to be false. Meanwhile, I get emails from my sales rep telling me how I can reserve or order another Ford model for savings. That’s what I would love to do. Have another vehicle reservation from Ford…NOT!

Oh, of that I'm certainof as well. The salesman I spoke to when I took my dealerships demo wildtrak for a spin said he had been sent to off rodeo and all the info sessions and he was pretty knowledgeable at the very least. He told me multiple times that Sept 13th was the day. Oh well.

I feel like we are going around in circles here. September 13th, today, is when the order guide was/is supposed to open for dealers. Doesn't mean we can order then.

They're going to go up....probably significantly based on all of the supply constraints in today's world. My wild guess would be that they won't go up by less than $600 or so and that's on the base, probably more on the higher trims.

This is a special anniversary of the first round of disappointments from Ford, it was "by September" that had everyone wasting time refreshing the website a year ago!
Ya, but how many hard tops shipped today? ;)

Ya... LOL. Who knows.
