i think if Ford went ahead and listed out the changes for the MY22 it might sway more people over to it and help alleviate some of the MY21 demand and more people would get what they want rather than having to compromise to maybe get the Bronco they want.

I wouldn’t count on the release of information before the weekend. He might just be finding out what he can tell us, if anything, before the weekend.

I could still get bumped to 2022 based off of the options I’ve chosen and would love if they put Grabber Blue on the Bronco. Even if it’s only on the new Heritage Edition.

One thing is for sure - They are 100% motivated to lure people over to a 2022. They cant control their supply chains. It's the only way, at this point, to lessen the blow on their coveted 2021 roll out.

Lower denominator for 2021 orders = More successful roll out.

In eyes of shareholders, theres little they could do to increase revenue if theres only so many 2021s they could build. So might as well improve the optics by showing a larger % of fulfilled orders, and preserve some credibility.

Option A: Convert 25% of 2021 orders, and show they cant deliver during COVID and tarnish future sales projections coming out of COVID across the brand. What if you extrapolate their conversion rate for company revenue coming out of COVID? = Really poor projections.

Option B: Convert 50% of lesser 2021 orders, and show a big pipeline for 2022 = Significantly better revenue projection.

I can't say I blame the guy... every time he says something definitive, Ford pulls the rug out from under him and he gets attacked on Twitter.
