I am completely torn with the CG or Area 51 (as I have an FE reserved). Just not sure if the A51 blue will clash with the stupid navy pier. If the white top is available balance will definitely tip in CG's favor.

I was always on the fence about CG. I liked it, but I could never put my finger on why. And it’s been staring at me. Every. Day.

I refuse to call this color Cactus Gray for the Bronco, it is now fighter jet gray. I want to feel like a pilot with the doors and top off flying down the trail. I know it will feel more like Bi-plane gray but I do not care.
First song to play with any CG Purchase-Top Gun Theme "Highway to the Danger Zone".

Took these pics this morning at the Ford store in St George, UT. Ford rep came by to do short training session with sales staff. I know in some pics it looks light bluish but it does not look that way standing next to it.

Thanks for the photos! Regarding the paint color, we should probably not pay too much attention to the first photo not because of the shade but because of the ugly color temp of the overhead fluorescents. All the other pics look dynamite except the last two pics that look horribly grey and boring. I think that might be because the last two phots are taken in direct front light. You can see the camera phone shadow on the hood. If the Bronco Sport looked good to you in person I'm willing to disregard the first and last two photos.

Just curious, would anyone's perception of cactus gray change if the name of it was mint green?

I was going back and forth with these two for a while. But I think I was being fooled by pictures demonstrating a blue tint to the Cactus, specifically with the white top bronco.
Now that we have more pictures and video it seems apparent to me that CG is just a light gray without blue in it.

Because of this I have switched to A51. I really would like a light blue, if I could choose any color. But I think A51 is an ok compromise for me.
Agreed. What initially drew me to this color was the visual impression in the launch video that it was a very pale blue. But instead it seems it’s just a pale gray, which literally EVERYONE is doing right now. I really wish Ford had been more bold with its color palette.

Its a shame there seems to be a global shortage of metallic flake right now. Really bad timing with the release of the Bronco. Toyota seems to be really suffering from it.
We’ve done 50 straight years of metallic flake automobiles. I’m happy to see a return to the style of the 50s and 60s.

Now if we could just ditch all the grays/silvers/blacks/whites...

There's a few vids out there of the Mustang from close up to farther away. A lot of the gray and pinches of green show up in the vids ....
looks badass on the mustang....but looks much more of a solid grey color....its like they altered the formula for CG slightly
