IDC of they want to mark up their stock, but I find it infuriating that they have stock to mark up while preorder customers are going to be waiting for another six months.
Chances are these are abandoned orders. Maybe Ford dropped the ball by not requiring dealers to send these back.

"Oh, Joe Bob that ordered a 2DR RR Badlands abandoned the order? Cool, cool...Fred Bob in state X has the same build. Go ahead and send that to his dealership and we'll clear his order from the order banks. Gives us a chance to work on Steve Bob's truck."

I believe in a free market but at the same time Fk these dealers and the whole damn auto sales industry. It’s like the only thing left we buy that’s basically a street corner hustle. See how much they can get you for. You go lower. They get their manager. Hours of BS to buy a car. I want to order a car from Amazon at invoice and have it in my driveway by sunset because I have Prime.

Seriously though there are good, no nonsense dealers out there but rare. When I was shopping for my new SUbbie STi, went to a couple of dealers that wanted $4k over msrp or severely low balled my trade by $5k. I simply walk out and basically tell them they’re scammers. I did find a dealer with an internet price below invoice but it was after MANY bad experiences.

I agree. Ever look at the Costco auto program? Way it works is you go onto Costco online, choose your area, build the car you want with options. Costco shows you the build sheet and costs (MSRP and then it shows you the "costco" price), adds any additional rebates Costco has going, and then once you click the button, sends your info to nearby dealers who work for Costco. They contact you, you go in, show them the build sheet and say you are doing the Costco program, they show you the car (or in my dad's case, they get it delivered from another dealer/factory/etc.). Then, you also are eligible for any dealer rebates on top of everything else. No haggling, no bullshit, and Costco is strict on it and makes the dealers stay in line. Could you try to haggle for cheaper prices? Probably, but this was the easiest experience I have ever seen with no BS and you know exactly the price. For example, the Costco price of the truck plus options was probably close to 8-10% cheaper than MSRP, Costco had an additional $2000 off for the Ford, and then the dealer had a rebate of $2500 off and 0.5%APR if you financed through them or something well under 1%. Truck stickered for $61k, he got it for $49,500 I think. I was amazed how straightforward it was and my dad was too-the dealer said that most people who use Costco are serious about buying and since the price is locked in/Costco monitors the dealers they work with, it is an easy sell/commission for the sales staff so there isn't even a point in trying to haggle with the customer.

Now, would this work for the Bronco right now? Probably not, but hopefully in the future when inventory gets figured out it will. Something to consider for anyone interested. Blows my mind though that you can go to any car website, build EXACTLY what you want, get financing online and XYZ, and you STILL need a dealer. Ship it to my house already! remove the middle man who just wastes my time and annoys me!

Not sure why some get all irritated by somebody making money, personally I don't care, good for them.

I do like the fact though, that this way too expensive vehicle I'm buying is actually worth a good 20-30k more in the open market right now, so my discount off MSRP is even bigger, LOL. I'll be driving an 80-90k truck around, I would NEVER spend that money on a truck, but it's fun to think about.

Now, somebody offers me double MSRP in cash? Take my keys.

Otherwise I'm just gonna enjoy driving my Ford Bentley 🙃

Sometimes I will look on autotrader, etc. for Broncos. Surprisingly, there are some listed in 30k-43k range if you look. I filtered for V6 and here is a link to that search https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for...er=false&sortBy=derivedpriceASC&numRecords=25

I thought I'd post this one in case anyone is looking on the lots right now, instead of waiting for their build.

Here is the link to a Base, 4-door, V6 w/Sas in antimatter blue with soft top for $43,195

I'm gonna get a great deal on a Badlands with Sas, V6 and high package then. It'll be $2k cheaper. Thanks SAC!

Saw this base on FB this morning. $30k markup. There is a fine line between being an opportunist and just being flat out stupid.
