NEED ADVICE

hello. I had a july of 21 reservation that I converted to an order on November 11th. My dealer assured me the order was in. I never received an email confirmation from Ford. I requested the WBDo which they sent me without any hesitation. it is attached. I still have not received an email from ford, and my order is not showing up on the website, it still says to contact the dealer. Should I be concerned? Has the WBDO in fact been received? it has an 18 priority code, not 99 so I believe that means it has been. so is the problem with ford and their website, and I should just be patient, or should I contact my dealer again. thanks. I know I have a long wait in front of me, but getting the order in and recognized is the first critical step, and if that part isn't done right no amount of patience is going to help.

My account shows a 3/3/21 order, and hasn't been updated since I reordered in Oct. '21. But, I know my order is in. Ford does a dismal job at sending emails so I'm not surprised you didn't receive one. The page you posted really doesn't have any info on it as it doesn't show exactly what was ordered, so I would say that doesn't tell you anything about it being actually in Fords system. I suggest calling the Ford customer help line to see if the order has been submitted. Good luck, you are not alone. Many of us are in limbo.

When i log in to my Ford acct, it says for me to order with dealer. But when i go in the back door i can see that the order is updated in the ford system. I'm not worried about it.

I second that ford has no grasp of how information on the internet works

Well, i heard something about the backdoor not being quite as useful as it once was. If in doubt you'll probably need to call ford

ill be more patient once I am sure I am in the pipeline, not much, but a bit more. lol. one of my long time favorite quotes is "patience is not one of my virtues" all my coworkers will likely agree.

I do know anytime i made a change with my dealer, i did get emailed, and when i checked the backdoor it was updated with the changes i requested.
I don't know why it is a backdoor, or how it is connected to my ford account, but it's more info than Ford acct gives. im unsure of its actual relevance, others will know more. Could be a dealer page to check order status, i really don't know
