Need help decoding 2.7 label

[Last Ride Bronco]

On the 2.7 engine label there is a code which states: MB3E 6007AA, some are showing MB3E 6006AA. What is the significance of this code and also, what is the difference between 6006 and 6007 since this is the only difference in these two codes?

Thank you brother, I appreciate it. I did search but came up empty on the specifics. I do realize this is an engine code, however, my real question is the significance between 6006 and 6007. Replaced engines seem to have 6006. I'm wondering if these engines are "corrected" in some way?
