see the images from the instruction sheet. I loosened all the other screws but the weather stripping would not release from the windshield frame. No idea how I'm supposed to feed the harness underneath the stripping to the other side. Tried for hours and got no where.
Any one figure out how to accomplish this? Ps, totally broke the little round thing that the glove console slides into trying to get it back in. I suck at this.

Side note, went for a test drive to make sure I put everything back together right. I got the worst rattling coming from up on the roof. Had to pull over and double check I put the panels back on right. Still rattled. Got home, knocked the side off the rigid light bar. Yep, that's it. Rattled like no tomorrow. Good thing I had left over dampener/gasket material from the mabett mudflaps (never used it). Cut little squares and put on the sides of the bracket closest to the bar. Had to loosen the roof rack cover mounts to get it in there but it seemed to do the trick. Hope the newer rigid kits come with some sort of gasket material

My '23 Badlands had adhesive between the weatherstripping and the header, so I poked a hole into the weatherstripping to run the wires through. To make it smaller, I removed the outside insulation from the wire harness and just stuck the two wires through the hole and then routed it according to the instructions.

Thank you for your 2¢
Would love to see a picture of where you poked your hole.
Any leaking issues?
Did you seal it (silicone or otherwise)?

I was debating in my mind to get a long thin razer and cut the adhesive underneath the weather seal backing to get the wire (minus outer insulation) through, then maybe backfilling with silicone, and smashing it down with the roof top panel until it cures. Im so indecisive and unsure about poking/cutting into weather seal on my $50k baby. I've never done this stuff before and am nervous about causing myself more work or needed repairs.

I took the front roof panels off today to see where the noise from my rack was coming from and remembered you asked for pics, sorry it took me so long to get them to you.

Even though I haven't sealed off the hole, water doesn't come inside, it follows down the interior of the weather stripping and goes out the side.

Thank you for sharing those pictures and commenting on whether or not it has leaked.
