There have been more rack failures than you think they just have not been made public. They break very easily with a little bit of shock load.

Certainly I get that not all owners are here on the forum, that said, other than yours, I've not yet heard of a single incidence yet.

I know of 2 others waiting on racks with no eta from ford. This recall is makin git all worse for getting them fixed too.
