This has been on my mind recently so I thought I'd share and see how others feel.

I'm curious if we'll see new aftermarket parts start emerging for previous generations of Broncos after the new Bronco is revealed?

For instance the new grille that says "BRONCO". I've already seen grilles like that on a couple EBs but might be cool on a FSB.

If you're currently a Bronco owner or just a fan of the Bronco overall (hopefully most of us here) what are some other aftermarket goodies you hope emerge after the reveal?

an SFA swap kit for 80+ Bs and B2s. I mean, I know it's not 'hard' like it is on a newer truck, but a straight up cut and bolt kit would be great.

A resurgence in the B2 would be great!

I think that this is more of a question about “Will Old-school Broncos continue to gain in popularity”

I think for the first gens, absolutely. I’d say the 1980+ Broncos will honestly become a bit less desirable over time. Especially if the new one is as cool as it’s being hyped up to be.

Mine is all James duff underneath. Pretty much all bolt in. Same as any other Ranger based vehicle.

Damn! I was all excited about a SAS for my 99 Ranger then noticed the JD only goes up to 97.

Wonder how hard it would be to swap a 2.3 ecoboost into a bronco 2... Been watching ebay for 2.3 EBs, but the ranger ones with a 4x4 tranny and transfer case don't come up that often... 2wd (mustang) ones are much more common...

I have a buddy with a 78 bronco that's been sitting for at least 5 years, keep bugging him to sell it to me but he won't, heh... :(

Give it another year or so, that or do a divorced transfer case. Only problem is the trans for the 2wd is long. My favorite bronco was 78-79. Only 2 years the full size had a solid front. They are just such a good looking rig too.

After looking around for a bit, I found this online...
"It(2.3l ecoboost) uses the same bolt pattern as 2.3l Duratec engine in 2002 to 2011 Rangers/B2300, 2002/2003 would be best years because of HEC dash added in 2004, but it can be swapped out as well."

What about slapping an F-150 trans & transfer case onto a 2.3 EB from a Mustang? I don't know if Ford did anything weird with bellhousings and what not between the F-150 and the Mustang. Or just drop everything from the F-150 into the B2...
