This looks interesting. I'm not sure if the additional height would be a benefit or not. Have you considered a variety with the standard height?
At this time we only plan to offer this height. The height allows for easier reach, but the shorter throw with detents makes for clean shifting.

40% means throws reduced to 3 in instead of 5, means it's about 1.15 shorter than Boomba, and it's higher up.

Is there any clamp or grip tool I can use to get the knob off, I can then possible get this kit instead

Any plans to offer a matte color to match the interior of the bronco?

So...I just installed this shifter. First impressions are that it feels like the barton shifter in my mustang. Substantially shorter throws and notchy. The height is about an inch higher than the armrest which helps shifting when I have large cups in the way. The stock shifter is made with plastic materials and has felt like it would break it if I ever shifted hard. The b&m is all metal and feels stable and secure. Other than that, it is comfortable to me has a heavy duty feel which is what I want in a short throw shifter.
Attached is the length difference between the two. I placed them exactly where they each mount to the housing.

So after a month-ish, what are your thoughts on it? Worth the install?
