Great! Did the Diode Dynamics mount match up with our pre-drilled slots or did you have to modify and drill your own holes? Would be great information for others that are trying to install that same light.

Diode Dynamics uses two mounting brackets to mount the light, one on each side, which has a bigger footprint than what I wanted. And I believe the light with the DD brackets would have been wider than your bracket.

I ended up going with a u-bracket from
Panda Motorworks, much smaller footprint.

Their bracket mated up to your bracket just fine. I could have used M6 bolts to mount it but wanted to use beefier M8 bolts. So I did have to open up their slots a little, didn’t have to do anything to your bracket. Again this was just my preference, could have gone with the M6s and been fine with no modifications. Really like the way it came out.

Raptor version is coming soon. We're glad to see that there is a lot of interest in these.

We're currently cutting the first Raptor variant now. It will be installed in-house on a local Raptor in the next few weeks. Will let you all know as soon as it is available.

Not to HiJack this thread but I am purchasing this Bracket for a much different use. I use my POV often for Emergency Response. Being Deputy Fire Chief of a Career department, and Chief of the Regional SAR Team Etc.

I want to mount two pods that have a steady white for normal use, but something with Red as well that i can put on an LED Flasher(ShowMe) makes tried and true LED flashers in the FireFighter World. My biggest problem is finding a 2" Pod that has both a decent output red and white, not just red backlight. Anyone have any idea who makes a decent two inch pod for that reason? Ill pay a nice finders fee of some Crown Apple and a Department T-Shirt if someone can lead me to a legit 2" LED Pod that can do both red and white!

Some real world testing in Baja this weekend. Chase lights are a must when being followed in dusty conditions. We’ve found that eye level mounted to the spare tire is an ideal position for drivers following behind you.
