I picked up my new Bronco back in Oct and was stoked (after 2 year wait). Then the clutch got stuck and a burning metallic smell came from the engine (under 700 miles) . Immediately took it in. And sure enough they found signs of burning and needed to order some new parts… which are still affected by shortage/supply chain?? First told parts would arrive in Nov. Then Dec. As of Jan 5, 2023, still no parts.
other info:
Purchased in Las Vegas, shipped to Oahu. I wonder if dealership is slow rolling cause I bought off island.
Ford is paying for a rental. Still sucks to be paying a car payment for a car I don’t drive.
Not sure what else to do other than wait. Pretty frustrating. Would be nice if Ford could do something to speed it up or provide some type of compensation. Any ideas?
