OK, first of all, I'm disappointed in all of the rest of you for not doing this before I could.Ford will be going above & beyond, from the factory, to be giving us exactly what we want
Second of all, SFA CONFIRMED!

Just think, someone at Ford probably spotted the SFA and told them to crop a little off the bottom of that picture so the internet wouldn't lose their mindsI was thinking it but was scared to say anything LMAO. Chairs incoming...
Lifting and IFS costs more than an SFA, so up selling larger tires may be the work around?I'm skeptical on the 37's also. Everything else would have to be built accordingly. That also means it's going to be expensive. Even if they are 35's that's well above what the competition offers. 37's would just be rubbing salt in the wound.
I was hoping for some raptor info too but I won't be surprised if that is their goal.... Not sure if I want to wait for the raptor anyway- im guessing it's going to lean more towards the offroader than the daily driver. Not a chance. They want people to buy the regular and then trade for the raptor version later. It also creates another "hype cycle" leading up to the raptor version
Since they're mounted further forward than they normally would be on a vehicle (in front of the A-pillar, not behind it), they have to stick out further so you can see around the pillars.Could just be me but do the mirror arms look long to anyone? Is there a reason for that? I think it might be an illusion because the arm extends slightly into the windshield
Towing and backing benefit from mirrors that extend further.Could just be me but do the mirror arms look long to anyone? Is there a reason for that?
They are extended for the ghost trailer.Could just be me but do the mirror arms look long to anyone? Is there a reason for that? I think it might be an illusion because the arm extends slightly into the windshield
I wonder if they'll be power folding or power retractable? Mirrors sticking too far out is not good in a parking lot.Since they're mounted further forward than they normally would be on a vehicle (in front of the A-pillar, not behind it), they have to stick out further so you can see around the pillars.
Probably folding, but if you look at them they are only a few inches out further than the tires, so may not actually stick that far out really.I wonder if they'll be power folding or power retractable? Mirrors sticking too far out is not good in a parking lot.
I'd imagine upper trims might - the only thing is, Ford will have to set them to open upon unlocking or detecting the key fob so the door doesn't hit them when it opens.I wonder if they'll be power folding or power retractable? Mirrors sticking too far out is not good in a parking lot.
damn elephant ears.....look like mirrors for towingCould just be me but do the mirror arms look long to anyone? Is there a reason for that? I think it might be an illusion because the arm extends slightly into the windshield
Isn't there a patent showing a way for the doors to open with the mirrors folded? Thought i seen that somwhere on hereI'd imagine upper trims might - the only thing is, Ford will have to set them to open upon unlocking or detecting the key fob so the door doesn't hit them when it opens.
