Isn't there a patent showing a way for the doors to open with the mirrors folded? Thought i seen that somwhere on here
there was, doesn't look like they implemented that patent.

Since they're mounted further forward than they normally would be on a vehicle (in front of the A-pillar, not behind it), they have to stick out further so you can see around the pillars.
Exactly. For the driver to see the passenger mirror and allow the doors to open fully the mirror heads have to extend further out to be seen. It is the trade off for keeping mirrors on with the doors removed. For Jeep the aftermarket filled the void with trail mirrors.

Yeah, I remember that, had some kind of arm that moved the mirror with the door. Now That you say that, these mirrors do not look like those patents did. (y)

Can’t say that I love the mirrors. But I do prefer their mounting location as opposed to the rumored A pillar.

There will be 11 colors to choose from for painted tops.
that's great news. Ten in the original group...plus admin said Grabber Blue & Lime, or equivalent. Don't have a clue which is the orphan

1. It's mounted on the cowl, not the doors, so yeah, it extends into the hood/cowl area a bit. 2. They stick out to see around all THAT BEEF.
Wouldn't break my heart if the mirror pivot was more inboard.

Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT which looks like an all new tire, not one that I remember ever seeing before from Goodyear.

Looks promising although I still am not a fan of those weird flares! I'm hoping they can be easily removed and all still look presentable.

I wonder if the mirrors will have a mechanical attachment to the door hing that engages when the mirrors a folded, so when you open the door it swings the mirrors out for the non-power trims. Either that or they just fold backwards ??‍♂?
