How much travel? How much track width added?
This kit is stock width. We will do a plus 3 also but wanted to get the stock width kit out first. Still uses the stock shock so travel is limited by the stock shock.

Do you lose the ability to control the suspension from the inside of the braptor?

Do the limit straps and bumps technically reduce travel by 1/2 - 1 inch?

Also, the live valves will sense speed and the GOAT mode, engage the algorithm it was designed to perform for, but then with the bypass working in there, how does the live valve interpret the addition of the bypass? Is there a way to verify if the algorithm is still working the way it’s intended?

Was any data logging performed to determine the effects of the addition of the bypass shock?

This is an exciting upgrade, just want to understand how improvements are tested and verified.

These are good question. I’d just add that more detail around what exactly this adds to the raptor in terms of performance. Also wondering if these work with different springs like the ones from Eibach.

no the limit straps and bump stops dont reduce travel. The limit straps will stretch about 1" total from new with use. normal stretch is about 1" per foot of strap length. The kit is designed to use all of the travel you can get from the stock coil over shock.

the kit will work with any stock or aftermarket spring also.

the Bronco Raptor electronic controls work as they always have. It doesnt know you have the bypass shock in the electronics so everything there sill works the same. the bypass shock does provide extra dampening and control over and above the factory live valve shock but thats the whole purpose of having the extra shock. the bypass tubes are laid out so its progressive and gets stiffer the farther you compress the suspension.

Okay I think it got it. So the big benefits are really added shock to the front and beefy front components. It does not give you any additional suspension travel because the factory shock is still used. With that said the computer still controls the stock fox shocks.

Did I get that right?

yep you got it. the added shock makes a big difference
