New First Edition swag from Ford: framed window sticker, authentication certificate, VIN console badge

This sounds really petty but I did not get my metal id. Does anyone know hoow it was placed in the box? Taped or something or just set in? Any idea how I can contact them?

My center console VIN plate was taped to the framed window sticker if that helps…. And there is a phone number for contacting Ford in the enclosed cover letter so that would be best for contacting them re your concern . It’s an awesome little kit for sure…..

We haven't received the package from Ford yet as well. It would make sense for Ford's vendor to produce and ship these out in numerical order. I'm toward the end with 3308, so guessing it might take some time for it to arrive. I'm in no rush but looking forward to receiving it.

That’s the trouble with a First Edition. Almost anything you do to the car will de-value it as a collector car. Keep it original as possible. Do not trash any of the original parts even though they may not be reasonably functional. Even the original paper stickers and paint marks on the car will be of value in the future.

This is partly why I try to do anything in a way its totally removable with no damage to the original vehicle. I even try to stick to this with non-special vehicles where I can, too.
