New Illuminated Third Brake Light for Bronco

I don't have an issue with the wiring. I don't like the idea of screwing it into the plastic spare carrier. It'll just rattle loose eventually. Based on the video that's what it looks like was done.

We use this same kit on the Jeep Wrangler and we have over 30,000 miles on ours with this installed on the carrier same way- Tek screws directly to the tire carrier with no issues whatsoever

Does THE TBL come on with the headlights or only when you hit the brake?

If it’s all the time with the headlights can you wire it to stay off and only function when you hit the brake?

The light only comes on when you hit the brakes.

For something like that you would need to use a Dual Intensity circuit like this www.oraclelights.com/products/oracle-dual-intensity-circuits

You would need to connect the orange wire to the running lights so it would need to go to the tail light connector for that. It's possible to do but since there is not a running light in the tailgate it takes a little bit of wiring knowledge.

Got mine today and installed it. Seems quality and well built. Watch the install vid and fill in the blanks with a little common sense and you’ll have a clean install. Word to the wise, DO NOT use the wire taps included in the kit. Do yourself a favor and educate urself on crimping or soldering some more permanent/reliable connectors on there, if not it’s definitely less than a 12 Pack bribe worth of parts and labor to get someone that can. Overall I like it, thanks @ORACLELighting
