I feel like Ford didn't pay Lego enough to get a proper version made. Land Rover got a nice version of the old Defender made before they ruined it.

...
This is what LEGO did with the Jeep:
Ford Bronco New LEGO 2-door Bronco model in Race Red available soon! 42122-1

So, similar price point and scale.
I wish they had done it in this color and scale instead, which is closer to CO and would have afforded more detail:

As always, it would look better with 4 doors....... But well done, having stuff strapped to the outside of the little guy.
Ooooh it's opposite day. That explains that guy flipping me off earlier, he actually thought I was awesome.

I have the old Speed Champions kit with the GT and Bronco DR. I wonder if this has any unique parts? If not, a color-swap could be possible...
I'm pretty sure the red wheel arches are new. I haven't seen those anywhere else, in any color, including on Brickset. All of the other technic wheel arches flex outward. The other problem may be what I think is a 3x5 beam w/ alternating hole orientations (top rear corner), which is only available in red, black, or white. Probably can be done a different way, though, and with fewer exposed blue pegs.

The 3x7 door panels are available in many colors, so even though that's a fairly new part, won't be a problem for black, white, CO, yellow, antimatter blue, carbonized gray, and you can get a rough approximation for robin's egg blue (dark azure). Other colors such as EG, Cactus, A51, HPR, Azure Gray, Desert Sand, Velocity Blue, or Marsh Gray don't look very feasible with the current LEGO color palette.

Did anyone read the fine print? Requires a pre order or reservation.
They usually release new technic sets in August. Last year’s Mercedes G Wagon was a masterpiece and released with preorder at that time. Stocks trickled into the stores around late August / September but if you preordered, you got it mailed to you weeks ahead of time.

Some Dane at Lego inc was tasked to create a Ford Bronco and without hesitation creates the two door. Some executive in Detroit gets tasked to sign off on the Bronco Heritage edition and nixes the two door.
Yup.
I started to laugh, then I stopped when I remembered how I rushed to the dealership in October to make sure they placed my order as MY24 and not MY25.
Like they say, the truth hurts.

Yeah... it's a price point thing.

Won't lie.... I am a gigantic LEGO fan. Probably the only hobby I've spent more money on than my Bronco obsession. I was hoping for a $350 super-detailed kit like the (now retired) Defender kit.

BUT... ya know... most people aren't man-children like me who are willing to drop $350 for a LEGO kit. For $65 the kit they come up with is solid.
i'm right there with yah bud!

Meh, it’s not bad but it looks like it’s a smaller, less complex Technic model. I like Lego’s Technic line - I have the Bugatti - I wish they’d make one of that scale. I think it’ll look decent and be popular though.
