I'll stick with my chinese knock-offs for less than half the price (the Alfa is even licensed by the team), I've done one "official" lego kit, the 911 RSR and it wasn't worth the price premium:

I've always wondered about the quality of those. My kid picked up some building block sets at the National Parks (amusingly from some sketchy Chinese source) and the pieces, fit and instructions were all majorly sub par versus Lego. They look pretty cool once built, but also seem to be on the verge of falling apart in a lot of cases.

These kits are probably coming off of another source though than what I experienced...

there is already a recall going out for the shocks. Just posted on the Lego site.

Broncos have been a choking hazard ever since they made them 4-doors and a Bsport version.

The one legit 1:8 scale lego model I built had worse instructions than the knockoffs in every way, none of the parts bags were numbered, so I literally had to open every single bag to find the required parts through the build. Other than that, the parts are identical, i.e. interchangeable between the knockoffs and the licensed lego bricks.

To each their own, but I will never pay $500+ for a lego model when I can pay half that for a chinese model. I buy them primarily because I enjoy building them, but I find they look just as nice, other than maybe you've got your heart set on building a specific licensed vehicle instead of some generic supercar instead.

This exciting new model comes with a consumer-installed light bar and roof rack, as well as 2 traction boards.

How well do you think LEGO did? Personally, I think it's a bit too reliant on the grille and headlight stickers to identify it as a 6G Bronco.

It's a pre-order right now, won't ship until August 1st but I got my order in.

Lego has 10 full size F1 cars in Miami for the race.

They crashed into each other on track and they had to sweep up all the pieces that fell off. It was great

I have built or modified many Lego kits over the years to include some knock-off version. I modified this version to make it a 2-door. This would be mini-fig scale.

I ordered the plans for this kit. When you request the plans, Peter will request a picture of your Bronco so he can customize the plans to look as close as possible to what you own. I am only about 1/2 way through building it but so far, so good.
