Ford Bronco Lobo Off-Road HOSS 3.0 Rear Shock Skids 005-1-scaled

Protect your Bronco’s HOSS 3.0 FOX Shocks from trail damage with these beefy, specific-application Rear Shock Skids from Lobo Off-Road.

Ford Bronco Lobo Off-Road HOSS 3.0 Rear Shock Skids 001-1-scaled

These skids are designed around the FOX 2.5 piggyback shock that comes on factory-equipped Wildtrak Broncos with HOSS 3.0 (optional on 2022, standard on 2023 and newer Wildtrak). The skid has a faceted front face that protects the piggyback reservoir but provides angled surfaces to lessen drag on the rocks.

Ford Bronco Lobo Off-Road HOSS 3.0 Rear Shock Skids 006-1-scaled

The components are CNC laser cut from 3/16″ plate steel, brake-formed and fixture-welded for a perfect fit. They come with a durable fine-textured satin black powder coat finish, but if you’re using them the way they are intended you’ll probably be touching them up with a rattle can from time to time.

Ford Bronco Lobo Off-Road HOSS 3.0 Rear Shock Skids 003-1-scaled

Ford Bronco Lobo Off-Road HOSS 3.0 Rear Shock Skids 004-2-scaled

The first batch of these is already in production and should be ready to ship out in about a week and a half. Get yours from the Lobo Off-Road website by Clicking Here!

Hey! Thanks for posting!

I noticed your solution is very similar to Barnes 4wd. Could you give some insight into your product enhancements that would lend itself to the price difference?

Link to Barnes posting:
https://barnes4wd.com/products/bronco-rear-shock-skid-plate?_pos=1&_psq=bronco+rear&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Hello, I prefer not to talk about other peoples products. Respectfully, I will speak on the behalf of my own and provide information, like I have done in the original post, in order for the end consumer to decide if its a product that checks all the boxes for their project. I know im not the cheapest, but I also know that I'm not the most expensive. My philosophy is to make the best product I know how and the cost is based off of my cost to manufacturing the product. My product maybe not for everyone and I understand that and respect that, However if I knew I could make something better and didn't, to save a dollar or so, I would have a hard time standing behind the brand and product.

Hello, At this time I do not have a answer for you. I have a raptor bronco scheduled to be dropped off in a couple weeks. I will be test fitting the shock skids to verify they will work, and if not, I will be taking notes to create the raptor shock skid.

So will regular SAS skids not work on HOSS 3.0? Are the mounts wider? I was wanting to do the 2” lift via redrilling the rear shock mount mod. I was going to use a skid to protect and reinforce the bottom of the mount once cut off. With your skid, since it doesn’t use the primary shock bolt and that 3rd bolt wing would be cut off, it would t work with this mod.

The tabs themselves are the same. The HOSS 3.0 has a fox 2.5 with internal bypass shock that has a larger reservoir and bridge, creating a clearance issue with a standard shock skid.
