Hey all. I am a new member, but I've been lurking for a while. I received my build week (1/23/2023) and VIN and thought I'd officially sign up as a forum member.

I reserved my Bronco 11/6/2020. My official order date was 10/16/2021. I'm actually pretty thankful I'm getting a 2023 model year. Hopefully a lot of the kinks are worked out.

I'm a huge ford fan. I currently own a 2011 SVT Ford Raptor (6.2L) which is heavily modified and gets a lot of use in Baja and offroad here in Colorado. I also have a 2018 F250 6.7l Powerstroke which I love (I do a lot of cross country road trips pulling trailers and my boat and it gets some use on the farm in Mississippi as well).

Here's my configuration summary if anyone is interested. Looking to enjoy the forums.

I really haven't planned on building this one out as I have a very built Raptor, but what are some of the must-have addons for these things?

Thanks,
Matt

Very nice

Similar to our ‘22, minus HOSS 3.0.
Must-haves? Don’t jump in on any fads, the must haves are tailored to your use. When I think Of something I might want or need I research that item/product and learn about it, what are the decent ones in that category, and if it will fit my uses. So figure out what and how you’ll use it and go from there.

Thanks! Yeah, I agree on your comment on the fads. I lived that life a couple of versions over with the Raptor. A friend of mine owns RPG Offroad and I use a bunch of his stuff on my Raptor. I'll definitely start with some of his upper control arms, but I can't really think of much after that.

Thanks again! Take care!

I meant to ask: How do you like your Wildtrak?

Flippin’ love it! It’s my wife’s daily, but I’m
Obsessed with the truck. And she is too. I’ve been wanting to use my F250 for some overland camping for a few years now but since it has been used as my work truck I have’t wanted to in a while. It’s the workhorse of the house now. With the Bronco, now we can. And everyone in the house is excited about it. The Bronco is a sweet vehicle,
i think Ford did it right with this one. If you know what it is, and what it is for, then you know what to expect. Heck, I had to fly to Vermont from Florida to buy it. I had only driven one in a dealer parking lot prior. First real drive was 1575 miles. I was impressed with it from the start. Not knowing where anything was, in the truck, and the area, and night driving, I was freaked out for a second. Because Hurricane/trop storm Nicole (not really a big storm at all) followed me up there and it was a steady down pour from an hour after I left, 4:30pm, until 6:30 the next morning. I can drive in rain no problem I live in SWFL, but all these factors and my anxiety effed me. Lol. Found a recreational weed store, bought me some pre rolls, found a small mom and pop place for a good ole steak and taters dinner a few beers and I was gone.

At first I was white knuckled having trouble watching my speed in the ups and downs, the truck freewheels pretty quickly downhill with the auto trans. So I shifted to manual and left it in 7th and found the slippery setting on the GOAT dial and was good. When I finally got dry weather the next morn, and some daylight to see the controls I was good. The ride was smooth, every time I talked to my wife I couldn’t tell her enough how good it was and how much she’ll love it. Coming from a BMW, I haven’t seen her like a vehicle this much ever, and she loved that car. She's the one who was into them, from the beginning, I only recently started learning about them and what everything they had was about. She’s Also into the aftermarket stuff I’ve done. Only light off roading so far, nothing more than any other vehicle I’ve driven in flat, sandy south FL. We’re heading to NC mountains this week, hoping to do some more trail riding in that area.
You’ll love it. Being you have a Raptor, you know it’s a Ford and so is the Bronco.

Welcome.

Be mentally prepared to have your build week bumped. Several times. Ford likes to screw with you that way. It’s some kind of sick game they play. I got 5 bumps (including one backward) before my actual build week arrived.

Which was just last week so I really can’t say for sure that it’s actually even ”built” yet. Still waiting to be notified of that.

Hoping and praying. Like everyone else.
