New Power Box from Genesis Offroad! Easily add extra power outlets in your Bronco

These days everyone wants to use more and more electrical accessories in their vehicles. If you need to plug in a fridge, camping gear, heating blankets, charge your cell phones, tablets, camera and drone batteries, and more, you'll quickly realize you need more power outlets to plug everything in.

Genesis Offroad designed this easy to install Power Box to give you 3 extra outlets in the back of your Bronco. On our website you can choose a 12v power socket, a dual USB charger, or a voltmeter for each of the 3 positions, and we will assemble it to your specs so you get exactly what you need.

Simply secure it in place under 2 factory hard top bolts in the rear cargo area, and route the included 20' long wire harness behind the interior trim, through the firewall and over to the battery.

If you have our dual battery kit installed, then you'll connect the wire harness to the power & ground bus bars - that way everything plugged into the Power Box will run from your second battery and will not drain down your cranking battery. We will be shooting a detailed installation video soon.

If you do not have our dual battery kit installed, you can still connect the wire harness to your stock battery to have constant-on power available. Just be careful and don't drain down your cranking battery!

I hear ya brother. Please trust me when I say I'd love nothing more than to be able to lower our prices back to 2019 levels. If our input costs ever come back down, I will do that, but as of today I do not see any signs pointing to prices going down in the foreseeable future.

I would love to see how you run the cable from the battery to the 12v location in the cargo of a Bronco. The installation video still shows a jeep. Or if anyone knows of a video showing a cable run like this, a link would be helpful.

I just tapped into the power outlet. Use them to charge my E-Collars and flashlights. Be mindful that the power is only available for so long after you turn off the ignition like the rest of the power ports.

I ran a fridge okay on a 5-day trip. My procedure is to cool it down the night before, running it off 120v house current. Then I load and plug it into the 12v in the back. I went with this splitter because I was also running a low-amp LCD dust light off the other 12v opening, and I could keep my camp light and backup radio charged off the USC ports.
That provided plenty of power to keep the fridge good and cold while driving.
Both the fridge and the Bronco have battery usage regulators to shut down power when low battery juice is sensed. But these fridges are thermally very efficient, and my perishables stayed cold and safe overnight. Then I started up the engine to idle for 10 or 15 minutes in the morning. The fridge restarted. Everything was re-chilled.
I didn't bring ice cream, so I don't know if this regimen would have kept that frozen. Worked for me, but YMMV, as they say.
