Is IAG paying royalties to Ford? It's basically the FOMOCO design.

Exactly. The Raptor's official fording depth is 37", obviously without a snorkel.Tested: 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades Is Ready to Get Wet
To make the Everglades the most seaworthy Bronco, Ford raised the vent tubes for both axles, the transmission, and the transfer case. Combined with the custom-designed snorkel, this allows the vehicle to drive through up to 36.4 inches of water.
The snorkel itself doesn't solve the problem...
I searched for an off-the-shelf vinyl cap of some kind that could potentially be modified without success. Definitely a product idea we can think about though! You will be surprised by how high the regular (non-everglades) Broncos have their vent tubes. I don't see why Everglades would need them higher. As it is, if I were to go in water over the vent tubes... I will be having a much worse day than just getting water in into my differentials.
Having said that, I love that IAG has come up with a snorkel solution. The stock intake ingests so much dirt, water and mud that this should help immensely for those wanting the Ford Everglades look. A little too late for me as I went with Airaid. I would never recommend the airaid snorkel to anyone because of how the company advertised their product but left the factory inlet open. Totally defeating the purpose and their response, "the snorkel is to provide another air inlet source." If someone hits that fender, I am going a different route for sure and I love the look of IAG's snorkel.
I made a temporary solution to close off the stock inlet. Unfortunately, IAG's solution here uses the part I am trying to block off. I just need a good solid cover to block it. Bourne Off-road has one for their snorkel but they won't sell me just the piece haha.
IAG, if you have any ideas or parts that would work to close it off. I almost want to buy the Bourne unit and get the piece, then sell the snorkel at a big discount (telling the buyer it doesn't have a piece to close the stock inlet).
Have you considered parking sideways at the bottom of Hell’s Gate while a Jeep tries to climb it??Having said that, I love that IAG has come up with a snorkel solution. I'll believe it when I see a test.Lots of talk about water fording depth, but just to clarify, a snorkel, or raised air intake, has multiple uses.
If you've ever been the number two or three vehicle in an off-road convoy trying to focus on the chase light ahead of you because you're in a complete plume of dust and debris, you know what I'm talking about.
Switching the cover plate to the front of the snorkel, you're drawing in clean air from the rear. Some of the guys that you see pulled over on the trail with the hood up are actually changing their filter, not diagnosing a problem.
I own a Wildtrak now, but having owned an Everglades, I know that snorkels definitely have a place off-road, assuming you actually hit the trails. IMO, water fording is a secondary perk.
There are too many variables to accurately answer that question, which is why we do not advertise maximum water fording depth after the installation of the snorkel. Packages, lift kits, tire size, etc.Very specifically @IAG Performance .
Assuming the alternator on the Bronco is water proof (which it very likely isn't). How much does this product increase the water fording specification of Broncos? Snorkel or not and assuming ones alternator survives, isn't the fording limit of all Broncos governed by the height of the differential vent?
We currently don't plan on selling them separately but it is something that we can discuss.@IAG Performance are you planning on just selling these inlet covers separately if they match the factory snorkels dimensions? If so I am interested.
Does it come with an “Everglades Poser” decal for the fender? As long as people are aware, adding this does not "mirror the Everglades".
