Over at Panda Motorworks we've been hard at work preparing for the upcoming release of the new Bronco! While the parts suppliers have been a bit quiet with what they will be bringing to the table, we decided to adapt some of our popular products for the Bronco platform! I will discuss further what each product is and why it would be beneficial for your Bronco.
Cobb Accessport
First up is the Cobb Accessport. The Accessport is the key to tuning any Cobb supported vehicle, including the Bronco! We have been tuning on the Cobb platform for over 7 years and in that time period it has easily become our favorite tuning platform. From an end user standpoint it is much much more than a simple tune flashing device. It is also a datalogger and can also display vital vehicle information via the OBD2. On top of that, it offers user-friendly software all in a sleek compact package, no bigger than your average cell phone.
Custom PandaTuning
The Cobb Accessport comes pre-loaded with various maps from Cobb. These are called OTS, or Off The Shelf maps. These maps are very general and do not account for your specific vehicle's mods, the fuel you are using, and more. Sure the OTS tunes will get you by, but to truly unleash the potential of your Bronco, you will need a custom tune. Thats where we come in! With years of tuning EcoBoost vehicles, we will be your go-to source for Bronco Tuning! Our custom tunes will deliver the best overall driving experience for your Bronco as we follow our 3 tuning pillars: Reliability, Drivability, & Power. You can rest assured knowing that your ecu has been calibrated by an expert in the field who has your best interest at heart to deliver a pleasurable tuning and driving experience.
NGK Pre-Gapped 1 Step Colder Spark Plugs
When it comes to to tuning any EcoBoost vehicle, it is highly recommended you upgrade to a 1 step colder spark plug. We've been using the NGK plugs for years and have easily become our favorite due to effectiveness, price, and availability. The reason we recommend the 1 step colder plugs when tuning your Bronco is to get a cleaner burn, alleviate cylinder pressure, and to allow stable ignition advance. When upping the boost pressure and fuel, you are also increasing cylinder pressure. These spark plugs are a great way to cut down on that, and increase the overall drivability of your Bronco! One of our certified techs will gap each plug to the recommended gap of .026. We will offer variants for both the 2.3 and the 2.7.
PandaTuned Starter Pack
Over the past year we have introduced PandaTuned Starter Packs for multiple vehicles, and the reception has been fantastic! As you can see in the graphic above, we have included every product I have mentioned in this article plus added a T-shirt and decals to the Starter Pack. The PandaTuned Starter Pack is the perfect place to start your Bronco tuning journey with its included Free Custom Tune! This will be available for both the 2.3 and 2.7.
Panda Motorworks Ford Bronco Oil Change Special
We will be bringing you high quality fluids at a low price! We will include the appropriate amount of Motul 8100 or Amsoil OE (Whichever is in stock) paired with a Motorcraft filter so you are only giving your Bronco the best! Both Motul and Amsoil meet Ford's OEM Spec, so you know it's good stuff. Price is comparable to what you can find at your local parts store, but at a much higher quality!
