Just finished installing some of my Black Friday Bronco purchases- RCI trans pan, transfer case, and a-arm skids. Very easy installation and high quality plates. Definitely recommend.

Nice! I see you got DV8 on the rear shocks. I thought it was odd RCI didn't offer those.

Yep, good eye. I liked the DV8’s coverage of the upper arm mount. They are also high quality.

I installed their Aluminum full skids as soon as they released them and added the steel A arms this past weekend. Probably the easiest installs I've done so far that have a huge impact. I have their aluminum Fuel tank skid as well and hope to get it on soon.

Used their skids on my old 5th gen 4Runner as well. Great company!

I see you have the OEM steel engine bash plate that comes with the OEM mod bumper. How does that integrate with the RCI transmission skid plate? Smooth transition? I have the OEM mod bumper with bash plate already, and don’t want to buy/replace the OEM engine bash plate if I don’t have to. Thank you.

Integration is very seamless. I had the same concern before I bought the RCI plates, as I didn’t want to buy their engine skid since I already had the OEM plates with the mod bumper. Fits nicely.

Awesome! Thanks so much for the help. Very useful. I’m likely going to buy these RCI skid plates now that I know this. Maybe see you around in AZ out on the trails…..I’m in Chandler.

Do you have the 2.3L? I just got my skid package from them and the transfer case pics on their website and instructions offered look different than the skid I got. I have a random bracket that appear to run to a gas tank bolt. I also don’t have the slots on the side for it to slide on two bolts.

Nope, I have a wildtrak so 2.7 V6. I wouldn’t think it would matter, though, as I don’t recall seeing anything that said V6 only. I would contact RCI and see if they have any other instruction manuals or guidance.

Transfer case skid is 2dr/4dr specific due to proximity to gas tank. The bracket is a rear support and non-slotted mounting holes should be a non-issue.
