Look great. Had lights like that on my truck fail inspection once. I stick to removable ones now. The carbon fiber ones I got don‘t darken the lights.

I ordered the red version about a month ago and they just arrived this week. Had some time this afternoon and installed them. They didn't come with any instructions, but it was basically plug and play (didn't even realize there were dip switches!). I have the same issue, I don't have the startup animation either, but I'm not too worried about it.

Replace factory halogens? Do the turn signals light amber? Have any pictures or comparison to factory tails?

Yes replaced the factory halogens that came on my base. Here is my install half done. AFAICT they're like an exact copy of the OEM Signature LED lights. The turn signal is amber.

Can you try hitting your keyfob lock and unlock button and see if the animation runs?

As stated mine wouldn't work at startup but last night walking away I locked the car and the animation ran.

Just curious.

Just tried, still no luck. Whats the info on the dip switches? I don't actually know where they are and what setting should be good. I just took them straight out of the box they shipped in and plug and played.

Turn lights (sequential vs on/off), warnings lights, brake lights, reverse lights all work as expected on both sides. Only the startup animation seems to be missing

They are the version with tiny clear spots so the light shines through better. They have the blacked out version too.

This is the photos with the left side installed and not the right. Not as dark as the fully smoked ones.

Do your brake lights have a delay like in this video? Notice the third brake light illuminates first, followed by the taillights.

Actually I think they do delay, yikes seems a bit dangerous
