I found out that I have a build date (5/23) thru the backdoor link. I never received an email from Ford or my dealership. When does Ford assign the VIN?

Inundated with emails. Now that’s funny.
I reordered in October for a 22. Got that email. Then silence.. and more silence. Found out through the back door link I had been picked up for a build week. No email. Build week moved. No email. Build week moved again. No email. Started making a nuisance of myself on the support line. Lo and behold, an email from Ford appears! Build week 3/21.
Window sticker appears with blend date of 3/26. Since then silence again. Did it hit the line as scheduled? Is it in QC? Accessory factory? Chip hold? Didn’t happen at all? No idea yet.
Ford is not “inundating” anyone with emails.

Is this actually confirmed? I kinda like knowing their production week schedule so I had a better idea of how far out they've scheduled. If I understand this right ill have to watch my email more frequently? Or do they intend to send emails on Thursdays as they have in the past? The new system seems convoluted. Got my email and a build date of 18 April. Ordered through a dealership in January 2022. Avoided all the big delay items except the mod bumper.
Morning. So does that mean there will be no build week scheduling calendars where we can see if we get scheduled on Thursdays?
