New update to Android auto NAV dash display...

Only noticed this last night coming home from work....
I don't know if it was a Power Up update (2.1.1) or Waze/Android Auto update....
But I like it.
This larger Nav instruction shows up when within 400m of a direction change and then goes back to whatever MyView you had displayed....

My iPhone has done that since day 1 I think. I think the nav system “taps in” to the navigation apps somehow. Glad android is working with it now!

Not the proposed layout change version, no... But any interim update might of had this improvement

AA has as well.... The change I'm refering to is the larger, "up coming direction change" graphic. That's new for us Android folk....

That doesn't look any different than my April 5th 22 build when using android auto maps for navigation. What are you saying changed? Just the size of the arrow and directions or it displaying at all? I haven't noticed any changes since day 1.

What app are you using? This was from Waze...
Prior to yesterday, it just showed a small directional indication above the My Display... It's didn't take it over like this.
Maybe Google maps has been doing this longer

Yes that was in Google maps. Maybe Waze finally updated to allow it, but maps had done it for longer than my vehicle was built already.

Mine does not currently take over with Google maps. Did a lot of navigation yesterday. Just the small indicator above.

Weird...
I do know however, google doesn't do broad updates. They roll out updates with server side switching, so maybe you're a build behind

I've had my Bronco since late April and this has always looked this way using waze on android.

I'm guessing this only shows up if you have Nav option? I don't get this at all, and use google maps with android auto all the time. Pretty lame it doesn't work without nav option, or I haven't figured it out.
