Depends on the price of gold.

My old man used to collect those types of coins from the mint. The value from the gold weight alone increasing has made 6 or 7 times his investment back.

IDK about now though with a $1k premium above gold prices.

Ok, so 999 jokes are a thing. I did not know that probably because I started reading some and I don’t find them very funny except the German reference ones. Not sure if it’s because the jokes really aren’t funny or if i’m in a sour mood.

99.9% of the jokes and memes on the internet are not actually funny, except to .999% of the population who find stupid shit funny. Maybe the rest of us should be envious that they are so happy?

I agree, but who is honestly buying/looking at these coins for the engraving? People buy these because they're guaranteed and extremely pure gold, and easy to collect and store. They could put a dickbutt on it for all I care, as long as it's quality gold.

Yea, but gold has been on the rise for a while now. I've had a few of the half oz ones for a while now, they've increased in value about 20% since got them. Pretty safe investment imo. I mean, I'm not going to be making a fortune over what was paid, but gold has held it's value through pretty much every economic downtown, ever.
