New Window Sticker? Why?

My background first:

Ordered 4 dr Outer Banks with Soft-top on 3/5/21
Blend date of 8/13/21
Production date of 8/16/21
Status is still in production
Checked palsapp.com and vin and frieght bill is there with status of pending
Checked modem is available to activate
Checked for modules and there are a ton (no clue what it means)

I check the window sticker everyday for changes. I dont know why, but I do.

I checked the window sticker again today...and the date changed on the very bottom from 9/2/21 to 9/9/21. No other changes anywhere on the sticker...

Any sense of what this "new" window sticker means?

Date at the bottom apparently changes every week you don't have your Bronco

Mine has already shipped and that date has changed many times since I received my sticker on 8/24. It changed again today to 9/9.

It changes weekly regardless if there is a change in production or shipping status. Guess whenever ford updates their scheduling it auto updates the date even if nothing changes.

The date on the bottom is when the sticker was last 'refreshed' from the database, usually every thursday. It will change again next week.

My guess has been that's it just showing that this sticker is up to date as of MM/DD/YYYY. Maybe nothing changed, but at least you know it's been regenerated. If it just displayed the same initial date that never changed, you wouldn't know if there were changes that just weren't being provided. But, it's probably for some internal processes, not necessarily us.

Every time something happens that date changes. Some of the events you can't see but others you can. Think scheduled, in production, built, shipped, at the rail yard, at the dealer. I suspect there's more but those are the ones I noticed and could attach to a specific date change on other special orders I had this year.

It will update every week on the same day until you take delivery.

I just looked at mine and it changed from 01/18/2022 to 03/04/2022. Thanks for sharing this. Now I want to know! LOL
