I agree 100 %Most everybody has been in line since July 13 2020. Regardless of which line youāre stuck in, weāre all in line. I have a first day reservation for a MIC BL. it hasnāt even been scheduled and wont be until 2022. Dirt mountain guys could consider themselves lucky depending on their point of view.
Or they were prepped for transport and were then given the DM sentence and put back with the rest of the herd.Has anyone noticed that some of the dirt mountain Broncos have a protective wrap on the hood/mirrors etc while others don't
I've seen that wrap on cars being shipped on trucks...do they not put it on if it was going by rail? Would be nice if they all had it sitting out there.
Just a thought I had staring at the photo that accompanies this thread.
Wow! Talk about being a Ford apologist!!!!It is all in interpretation. They say they āneedā to. They donāt say they are going to, or will replace before new hardtop Broncos.
That's the common theme these days, if you're not a whiner you're a Ford apologist.Wow! Talk about being a Ford apologist!!!!
Exactly! That's the common theme these days, if you're not a whiner you're a Ford apologist.
Seems like Ford is ahead of schedule on MIC2 and building hard tops, and fixing Lot builds.
The original plan was early October right?
So it doesn't make much sense to flail away at them for breaking their promise by doing something faster now does it?
Why the hell would they schedule hardtop Broncos when they have a shitload waiting for tops? It would make zero sense. They'll be lucky to replace all the bad tops and complete all FEs this year. And how does that stop hardtops from being scheduled Oct/Nov ??
You say that, but Ford sent me an email that said absolutely under no circumstances would any vehicle come off any assembly line anywhere for any reason until all dirt mountain builds were fixedFord has said lots of things. Theyāve done lots of other things.
It's like this, they have a crew working on replacing Dirt Mountain Bronco MICs, we know that. I'm assuming they can only do so many a day, that's reasonable. Should that mean no other MIC Bronco should be allowed to run down the assembly line? I would MUCH rather see them build Broncos for day 1 reservations then see them run soft tops from fucking August 2021 orders! I saw a guy got DELIVERY for his BB this week from an order placed on 8/10/2021! Fuck that shit period. So it looks like Ford has lied to us once again. Despite Ford clearly saying that the Broncos already produced with the bad MIC Tops that are currently being held at MAP (actually sitting on Dirt Mountain) would get new tops before producing any additional vehicles with hard tops, it looks like that is not the case. The FE shown below was produced this week (9/16/21), shows as built, and is scheduled to be shipped. How can Ford continually lie to (or at the very least mislead) the customers over and over again?
Care to comment @Ford Motor Company ?
What if they had the parts to build other BroncosWhy the hell would they schedule hardtop Broncos when they have a shitload waiting for tops? It would make zero sense. They'll be lucky to replace all the bad tops and complete all FEs this year.
