The factory retail price is $1895. To buy it through your dealership will be much more for freight delivery and dealer install..
That is the option price, which includes you giving up the value of the standard soft top. The painted top will probably be close to $4k is purchased later based on the price of the dual top option on the survey.

Interesting that according to their chart the modular black top is optional on all trims but Base. That was not the information available originally. If they make the signature lights an option on Black Diamond as well that makes a switch down from the Badlands very tempting.

Correct. I didn't word it appropriately. No one should expect to order a Mod Top from the dealer for $1895.

This should surprise no one. The modular roof is late availability. Dual tops includes the modular roof. Therefore ....
Dual tops never included the MIC top. It was for the modular top plus the soft top.
Look again.

This news shows that you can order:

1. MIC for immediate delivery
2. Soft top for immediate availability
3. Modular top for late availability
4. Any combination of dual top (modular OR MIC) for late availability.

I see that now, some people were saying the black mod top would be $4k to buy from dealership. To save $2k, I will hopefully add it to my order and wait a bit longer...just wish we knew how much longer...

The factory option price is $1895 over the cost of a MIC top, which is $695 over the cost of a soft top. Assuming the soft top is $1200, the modular top stand alone purchase price is ~$3800. Plus freight etc. Its going to cost over $4k to purchase the modular top if you dont wait for it from the factory.

Nothing. Come On Bronco!!
Negative.

This news shows that you can order an MIC for immediate delivery, soft top for immediate availability, modular top for late availability, or any combination of dual top for late availability.

You're right. Missed that. I don't remember that being an option at release. There's no reason for the MIC dual tops to be late availability.

Not sure why our 2 door brothers aren't asking why dual top is only for 4 door....

I bet it's just comes down to supply.

Could you imagine the sh*t storm if someone's bronco with a single top option was delayed because some jerk ordered two tops?

;)

Eww, this makes less and less sense, why can't I get a Dual top, soft top and modular hardtop, take delivery of my soft top Bronco when it's ready, then get my modular hardtop from dealership when it arrives there, they aren't installing both on the Bronco at the same time...

Probably about the same as the people that order leather in the Badlands and didn't realize they are going to get carpeted floors. Or the 2 door people that don't realize they only get manual seats.

There's no soft top for the 2-door.
Holy crap. Didn't even realize that wasn't an option. Just another reason why the 4 door is the best!!!
