Shoot I just want a couple of Bronco bottles that I can hook to the rear "beverage holders" using carabiners. But the bottles cant match any of the bronco colors in anyway...

Talked with my dealer yesterday. He said he has not had any updates from Ford about when ordering starts. He was going to reach out to his ford regional rep to see if he could find anything out. Although last time he did that it wasn't very helpful.
Seems ford mothership is keeping the dealers in the dark just like everyone else.

The dealer I'm using is a good friend that I grew up with, went to the same college, and were fraternity brothers, etc. So I know he would tell me if he knew something. It's a smaller family run dealership, don't know if that would keep them more in the dark. But I doubt it.

Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence

Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence
And the people bowed and prayed
To the Bronco god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said, "The words of the prophets are written on the Twitter walls
And Dearborn halls"
And whispered in the sound of "stand by
"

Just got this email from my current dealer today:

my manager was talking with Ford, and they said it is now looking like it is going to be closer to summer before we can order them.

During the Instagram Q&A video, the guy did say "we may all be waiting for a 2022 model". And quickly said "we'll not go into that...."

Was trying to find it in the video, but tough to sift through over an hour of talking for maybe a 5 second comment.

I am afraid if the wrong 2021 F150 shows up in my dealership lot, i too will abandon this disastrously bad rollout.

Stay Strong my Bronco obsessed brethren.

I have watched all available videos that I know about, and do not remember such a quote. This is how misinformation gets spread.

If you can't provide a source - just don't post it.

When we can start putting in our orders is irrelevant. MARCH 18th is what I have noted as to when those actually start getting scheduled. So if for pushes back the conversion, its moot UNTIL they go past that March date.

At which point, like many others, 2 new choices will come into play ... New Rubicon (and I'll maybe speak to Ford in 5+ years) or used Rubicon (and maybe see how much resale I could get once Bronco's are in Stock AND discounted).

If we are looking at late 22+ (or maybe even late 21) I may be out. I have plans and not getting any younger.

Not worried. I’ll wait till 1/18 to be happy or disappointed. Ford said 1/18. I’ll give them until then. I’m still in regardless because I have a few beaters to get me through until I get me bronco.

If true that ordering is getting pushed back...then I'm looking at this like the glass is half full.

If they keep pushing it farther and farther out and offering more and more "Ford Credits" to us reservation holders....at some point we'll have enough of these credits saved up to buy the whole damned truck!

Seems inflammatory.

Not sure how this is a bullshit sales tactic. Interesting take on it though.
Any dealership that has told you to send them your build and price so they can put it in right when the banks open is borderline scamming you. Complete bullshit sales tactic since we know build and price is basically bullshit.
Scam ? Dealers don't control the B & P. My dealer was being proactive back in late November asking for my build PDF. Wasn't that Ford's words that dealers would be contacting us in November? We worked on then current pricing and agreed to a number.
My build hasn't changes since then. He has it-it's ready to go. Yes the 10sp Auto bumped the price. It is what it is. We will work on a new price and I can accept it or reject it.

It seems that way to you, because you are not there to see what is actually happening. You statement that they should have several companies lined up to make tops and several companies lined up to make chips is simply ridiculous. Even the Army doesn't do that. They have one manufacturer who they contract with; and when their contracted companies have issues, the soldiers have to adapt and overcome. I cannot imagine the problems Ford would have to deal with, if they had several companies contracted to build their tops. Consistent sizing and fit would be difficult to manage, and warranties across multiple top venders would be a mess.

The only thing Ford has done wrong, in my opinion, is in giving the customers too much information. Had they stayed quiet just a little longer, to allow the company to get a better handle on all the crap COVID has handed them, your panties would not be in a wad, right now.
Couldn't have said it better
