This thread was a good read. I’ve been debating Toyo AT3 vs KO2 for the past several weeks. I’ll save $500 on the Toyo (35x11.5 - C Rated) as well. I guess my decision is made.

I had 315/70/17 KO2s installed at local 4x4 shop and noticed a lot of vibration and seat shaking in highway over 70mph. Took them to a place with a Roadforce balancer and they couldn’t get the tires to balance. Wheels were fine.

Both shops told me they have issues balancing KO2s and reading online, seems like common issue. The tires I received are out of round/defective and tire rack agreed to take them back so I went with Nitto Ridge grapplers based on recommendation from both shops as well as reviews online, had them RF balanced and vibration issues gone!

I don’t have many miles on either tire and it’s been on road. I can say that the Nittos are E load so stiffer but totally fine for daily driving.

I love the BFG K02 tires in the size you note. That is what I want on my Black Diamond. I am on my second set of them on my 2006 F250SD diesel 4 x 4 truck. The first set went 80k and performs well under all conditions (including 4WD).
I had a set of KOs, the early ones, on my 85 F-250.
The front end of that truck weighs 3Klbs.
I got 40K miles out of those tires, which is unheard-of on that truck.
I'm sure there's newer tech out there, but I L-U-V BFGs!!!

I just placed an order for the Nitto's. Can't wait to see how they are.
TY everyone for helping me make my decision. Went with 35x12.5 for my Grams Light 57X wheels.

I have BFG’s on my Bronco with about 10k miles and Ridge Grapplers on my Ram with 41k miles.
Overall I have liked the BFG’s way better. The nittos are basically shot, are much louder(even from the start) as they wear they are scary in wet and snow. The other day I almost couldn’t get over the little sensor/jump in the car wash cause it was wet and my tires were spinning. We had a brutal winter with historical snow and the nittos were slicks.

we will seehow the BFG’s do as the wear but I’m solidly in the BFG camp.
