This is one of my go-to's.

There's a family dive restaurant (not even sure you can call it that) it's more large roadside shack, called Triple XXX Family Restaurant in West Lafayette IN near Purdue. They have a burger special on the menu with peanut butter - it was pretty good, I'd get it again.

I agree with there are many many things more important than a vehicle. But... at this point in time, a new vehicle would certainly help. Car just passed 219k miles over the weekend, still running pretty good though. At the same time, I have no desire to find an interim car if something were to go wrong.

So from my point of view, this Bronco has gone from a Q4 2020 (yes that was a rumor from about 2-3 years ago), to a Q2 2021, to "We never really planned this shit out (FORD), so you'll get it when you get it because really time stamps don't mean much". Yeah I'm a bit salty, I admit But there are no other vehicles out there I could live with, so I wait and hope the car keeps running!

Could always look at swapalease and pick up a short term hold me over.

The 2018 Tahoe in my profile is technically my wife's car, and currently the only car in our family of 4. I had a 2008 Saab 9-3 that was on its last legs with all kinds of issues even my local Saab specialist couldn't fix, so it was decided to sell it last year vs letting it depreciate in front of my house. (not knowing used cars would actually increase in value in 2021... and Ford would continue to delay things... if only I could get that damn crystal ball to start working correctly)

AND before that 2018 Tahoe, wife had a 2011 Terrain, but we grew out of that, hence the upgrade.

There's some saying about what happens when you assume... how's that go? Maybe you'll recall...

I thought about the mini-lease thing @Johnny Mo but having a car paid off it just feels like throwing money away. So I'm going to try to limp her across the finish line, at the same time be pissed at Ford for fucking all this up. And no, I'm not giving them a pass for COVID... that's 1 year... and a new vehicle isn't designed/launched/built in a year... this has been poor planning!

Here's a bit of trivia. Do you know why they say to drink from the can? Because their beer has repulsive chunks of yeast floating in it. You can't taste it. You can't feel it. But you can see it.

A good friend is a manager at Night Shift. He loves their beer. He was actually able to get a bunch during Covid. We drank it together. In glasses. With black chunks of yeast floating in it. Ha.

Hah. Well, before Ice cream, someone mentioned life changing while they waited for their Bronco.

Also, the market changes. One of the reasons I'm leaning bronco over Jeep is the engine choices. If I get a Jeep, its going to be a Gladiator because overall, I'd prefer a medium sized pickup over an SUV.

And in a Gladiator its just the normally aspirated V6 or the diesel. Neither of which appeals to me. If by next year there is a 392 Gladiator. I may jump ship. ha.
