anyone looking to put mud flaps on their Bronco? I wasn't thinking about it, but the front tires do kick up a lot of dirt so far, probably gonna be messy in the winter with all that brine they put on the roads, probably best to keep as much of that off the paint as possible? Looks like the stock flaps dont work with rock rails or steps, so I would have to get the $200 gatorbacks, unless someone knows of a good alternative that doesnt look like crap?
good question. I've thought about these as well. But not sure?

Do you have a link to the gatorbacks you speak of?

I've been keeping my eye out. I never enjoyed mud all over the door handles when trying to setup camp. But, I've heard they get destroyed out on the trail. 🤷‍♂️

Nah - he should get this one that matches his Bronco...the fuzzy red Monster. Sort of looks Angry. They make them in green too, if you prefer...

He probably has fuzzy red things In his nightstand as well 😳

These are the ones that Ford sells with the Bronco lettering on them:

Genuine Ford Splash Guards Front Gatorback Heavy Duty With Bronco Logo - VM1PZ-16A550-A | Levittown Ford (levittownfordparts.com)

I think they look a little cooler than a generic one would, but $205 to cover the front tires is a bit much.
Those are listed on the Ford acc site as for Bronco Sport
https://accessories.ford.com/produc...atorback-heavy-duty-front-splash-guard-pair-1

Specifically calls out "Not compatible with Fender Flares." so I'm not sure they'd fit the full-size Bronco (with rails, steps) without changes. But I'm interested to see what people do for front flaps...

This is the week fella's and ladies... at least I hope it's the week.

My delivery window starts on Thursday. But from what I can tell around here, it seems once it's shipped (to the east coast) they seem to be getting here close to or before the opening window...

🤞

This guy. Has 2 before most of us get 1! hahaha, congrats!

What day was this built & shipped?
Built 10/29
Shipped 10/ 30
Delivery window 11/14 through 11/20
Delivered 11/8

Hey whats up with that explorer? Mileage/condition and price?
I traded my 2002 Explorer in to Brewster ford...didn't want to deal with a 3rd party sale and figured they treated us well so I was fine not getting as much for it as I probably could have. Needed new tires, but only has 112k miles on it, and I just replaced the starter and the alternator on it in the past 12 months.

They probably still have it there I am guessing as I just traded it in 1.5 weeks ago if you are looking for something. It was a good car that I was gonna keep for my son who turns 17 in a year, but don't want to deal with insurance, getting new tires, and anything else that goes wrong with it.

Thx for the info.

Very interesting... I was built on 10/28 & shipped on 10/30 as well. But am still in transit.

do you, or anyone know the path Bronco's going to Brewster take? I'm assuming they get shipped to some rail yard closer than South Philly? Maybe somewhere in Newark or Elizabeth?

anyway, still optimistic this is gonna be the week!

oh $hit, i thought the big bronco ones were 250...450 is crazy... gonna have to keep an eye out for alternatives if you have rock rails.
yeah, I was also looking at that one thread where the dude is talking about rock chips... and all those chips seem to be in the underbody... or where rock rails would go, if he had them. So maybe not as needed? Esp if you have rock rails? I have, or will have a Black Diamond soon, so it has rock rails...

But yeah, $450 is a bit nutty.
