Not sure how many of you are waiting for a winch solution, but ever since I saw the guy that modified the Rough Country hidden winch for the Badlands, I have been thinking that would be my best option since I refuse to buy a new bumper after doing the BD lights and all.

I've been keeping in touch with them about coming out with a true version designed for the MOD bumpers, and I finally spoke to someone who told me he was actually just looking at the version they created, and that they expect to have it out (or at least order-able)by Christmas. Their winch (12.5K synthetic) seems sufficient for me, but I would prefer a wireless, so I'm considering either the Smittybilt XRC Gen3 12K Comp Series Winch with Synthetic Cable - 98612) or the Warn EVO (no budget for a Zeon). From everything I read, the Warn seems to have only it's "name" going for it in terms of the arguments everyone makes against the rest (built in China...as that is where it is as well, and even their own site disparages it vs the Zeon). Thinking the 9500 or 10K winches likely work as well, but if they fit and are a small difference, I'd go to the higher for margin of error). Any thoughts? (I don't care to have this conversation in GenPop, just among friends... ;))
I like it, but it doesn't work with the V6 :(

I've heard good reviews on the Badland Apex

from what I understand, that heat exchanger can be moved - one of the ford engineers on the forum said its placement Is not required to be there specifically for any airflow. Curious of when they announce the MOD kit if they will have a “2.7 kit” for that as well

This post has me wondering if any of you 12/18 rausch guys have straps or traction boards?!?!?

Gotta show the build!
I guess I waited too long to order it because it was hell finding a battery operated one in stock. Should ship soon. I'll put it on next week when it arrives. I'll be the Bronco @ rausch creek with a wreath!
I've driven that stretch 4 times now in the Bronco and have yet to see another one.
I'd probably just assume you were off roading and a branch got stuck on your spare. :)
I planned to put it in eco mode and use ACC pretty much the entire way.
Is that what you normally do?

Ordered some polyfil to fill behind the speaker locations. Hoping to make it sound less "tinny"? Anyway, think I over bought haha

Might fill some thin throw pillows I've got around the house. If you guys need some and are in the Bergen County area, let me know 😂

If interested, the 2022 IBSP season beach permits are on sale. I think it ends up being $75 for a weekend otherwise.

Well shit. Glad you'll be hanging with us.

I do have questions on some of the items purpose. But probably better to just go with it. 😂

I'm hearing ppf from the factory is one of the main constraints!
I dropped by an auto detailer today. 60 per window for tints that match the back (is that good or bad or average?)
And he will get back to me Monday on ppf. Don't think I'll have the ppf done by Rausch though

I did just order a GRS radio that should arrive before we hit the trails.
I actually got the factory PPF. Is it worth it? Not sure yet, but at least the front and front corners are covered.

You can only drive on that beach to go fishing right?
Correct “fishing”. You need fishing gear for everyone over 12. From what I have seen a lot people just set up some surf rods by the water and leave them all day. You can “fish” at night and have a fire while “fishing”.

I am planning to fish. Catching fluke from the surf is a lot of fun during the summer. Blues are fun in the spring and Bass in the fall.

Small upgrade. Black lug nuts.

Ford Bronco NJ/NY/Delaware/Eastern Pa./MD/Ct Volume Buyers? 3B320E55-3172-4656-88AC-7473240A1933

But in typical me fashion. I thought each wheel had 5 lugs. So when I order a set of 24 I thought I was good.

There's 6 per. So my spare still has chrome lugs. 🤦‍♂️
Were the factory lugnuts one piece or the shitty 2 piece ones that came with my Fusion that swell up after a year or 2 of driving to the point you have to break them off?

I suggest adding few energy bars, a shovel (multiple uses) and a roll of toilet paper for when you get REALLY stuck and will be there for a while.
