Soft Top yes, NJ yes... But don't have an issue like that (thank God).

My latest with the soft top is, it sounds like the passenger side wants to lift up while cruising down the highway on a windy day.
I don't see these soft tops lasting all that long.

Likely not. But if you've never been, that area is awesome. Went down there to watch the eclipse in 2017. Then went back in 2019 to explore even more since there was so much to do.

This pic doesn't even give it remotely the justice it deserves.

The experience was like nothing else in my life. Hard to explain. But that little black dot was much much much bigger in real life. The light around it much much less.

We were in Cades Cove in the Smokys for the experience.

Some of us work for a living :(
Lol, With my job I need a break every couple of months!!!! It gets to a point where my people are telling me to take some time off!!!!

I try to get away every two or three months for a long weekend or such, doesn't always happen, but it deffinetly helps my attitude!!!

Yes I have been a couple of times.
Went with a buddy in 2015 took the sky line drive and blue ridge parkway down on our bikes, Three days riding to get there and then hung out for 5 days and rode back in one day!!!!
Last time was in 2020, they pushed back SuperCell to I think October becuase of Covid and it was the first place/time I saw the Bronco in person!!!
You are right, beautiful area and lots to do. I am hoping to hit Windrock Park while I am there.

I think the most I'd be able to do on my XDiavel is 3 hours at a clip. As for overnights on it - that's a whole different issue with lack of storage. Only what I could fit in a backpack. But I'm not going out and getting myself a big cruiser anytime soon.

When I traveled i have a hugh tee bag that sits on the back seat.

Drove that to Sturgis in 08 as well.
1800 miles in 2 and a half days😁
That was a cool couple of weeks out there. Did around 2000 miles while i was out there!
But all that was in my younger years.... barely get out anymore.

Hey, what's the recommended mileage for the first oil change?
5,000 miles, per a couple of dealers I asked.

1 dealer even said the oil used in a new vehicle is specially formulated? Hell if I know if that is true 🤷‍♂️

Wow 10k? I would like to do around 10k, but think I'd run full synthetic to do that. Which I am planning on. I don't feel like dropping 80 bucks every 2-3 months for an oil change.
Figured for now, I got those Ford Pass points.... And no garage... So Ford can change my oil 😁
