Fred Beans Ford in Doylestown, Pa
When I asked if X-plan will be honored, this was their reply:
" We cannot promise that at his time. It depends on the market. "
and, a later reply:
"We won't be marking these up I know that and we will most likely be giving customers the pricing they qualify for. We just don't want to make any promises during such crazy times. "

This was from the Business Development Manager.
Hehe

such crazy times ;)

Might be back in *fingerscrossed* what’s the latest from Leo Kaytes
Hey @Builtdadbodtough good to hear that things might be turning back around for ya.

Latest from Leo Kaytes was x-plan + their warranty. Which if the warranty is what you are looking for, probably a great deal for you. We couldn't get him to deal any further though.

Ugh. So who’s got the best offer now then?

So I we need to ask dealers if they will honor Xplan with no dealer add ons?

My dealer said Xplan in writing in an email but I don’t trust them. Lol

Pretty much most of them, because "most" have said they will honor x-plan. Or, you fly/drive/ship from Granger or Stephen's. Winner has $1,000 access. credit (if I can ever confirm 100% on that). Bowen's (Ct. I think) was maybe invoice (hair better than x-plan). I'm trying to still work on Chapman (waiting on their GM now, but not too confident there).

That is correct. x-plan should be a given (unless you are dealing with Fred Beans who basically said, if these sell like hot cakes, we won't take x-plan... we want MORE money).

It's any other type of deal like accessory credit, below invoice that will seriously need something in writing from a GM.

Hmmm Stephens is only a 6 hr drive so that may be the move.

If a 6 hour drive isn't bad for you, that is probably the best deal so far. $1,300 below invoice. You can factor in the rest (flight or drive out there, hotel maybe, food, gas, tolls and so on). You'd most likely still be below invoice when all said and done.

Leonardtown in MD (I believe), is something like 3 or 5% below MSRP. But that ONLY saves you over x-plan if you are getting a Base or Big Bend. It still doesn't touch the Stephen's deal.

Has anyone contacted Keyser-Miller Ford in Collegeville, Pa?
I just sent the sales manager an e-mail. Their FB page has a bunch of Bronco posts, maybe they'll play.
Heard back from one of the guys there:
Keyser-Miller will honor X-Plan, but unable to offer "any additional offers that we don't offer everyone" due to their " X-Plan agreement with Ford".
They do have a bonus:
"We do give all customers free lifetime State Inspections for all vehicles you own. "

Is this some kind of joke or am I missing the value here.
It's a Pennsylvania thing. If I'm not mistaken, they DON'T have state inspections like NJ. They have to actually go to a garage and PAY for inspection. If I'm correct that is.

Right, Pa requires annual safety and (in many areas) emission testing. It's done at licensed repair centers. Cost is somewhere around $60 (IF it passes).

If I were to buy a vehicle outside of the state and bring it into Pa, I would have to pay to have an inspection done. I did ask Bergey's, they said it was included in the pricing, no extra charge.

That’s true. Value, about 45 bucks a year.

This annual inspection, btw, is such a scam. Especially how cars are made these days. Minimum, it should be cars 5+yrs. Moving from NJ into PA it's one of the things I find the most annoying.

However, I do appreciate the cheaper car insurance!

So I left (2) separate voicemails friday not. Was busy yesterday doing stuff, but my phone didn't ring. It's sad how I get the same delay from phone calls that I do emails. I will try to reach out to Chapman & Winner again tomorrow.
