Does Brewster have allocation for all the orders?

I spoke with mustang Mike yesterday and he text me this afternoon and said systems were still down due to a glitch and should be able to configure tomorrow. I was debating holding off until MY22 but I’m happy with my build and can only see prices going up, other delays, etc. So placing order!

My guess is NO. Well let me rephrase, all dealers will be allocated what they convert. But not all allocations will by MY 21.

So the biggest question is, if you want a MY 21, do you fall in the allocations to get a MY 21? And right now, none of us know that. Depends on times stamps and depends on what each person orders (delayed items or not).

Go back a couple pages and you'll see why. Seems they were trying to get a jump on things before people sent in their builds.

Realizing this could be an issue I reached out to them this morning. Hopefully going forward this doesn't happen until salesperson reaches out to customer and customer says yes I want MY 21. Now if someone wants MY 22 and it's in order status, we'll we gotta find out how to make that happen. I'm going to guess and say you wanted MY 22 hence your post?

Good news for those who may need to reset their order back to a reservation.

" We're aware of a small number of Bronco reservations mistakenly converted to orders by a small number of dealers. Reservation holders must provide consent to convert to an order, and we encourage all customers to have a discussion with their dealer on the terms of the sale before placing an order. If the customer is unable to resolve their concerns directly with their dealer, they can call the Ford Customer Relationship Center at 1-800-334-4375 to change their order back to a reservation and maintain their timestamp, change their selected dealer to a new dealer, or both. We also are reminding our dealers of this policy. "

Well then Brewster has to fix things. I will have to call them tomorrow. Frustrated. I specifically told them on email and over the phone that I wanted to wait a week to figure out the process to push to MY22!

Frustrated with communication too. Disappointed that it was really good up until I switched my reservation, which was also converted to an order without my consent or any.. you guessed it- communication. Was told it was done to “lock in my spot” (I have a mid October res and am well aware I’ll be waiting for 2022) and that I could still update my build. Put my build in last night with them. The sales person I’ve been dealing with didn’t really have answers for most of my questions, but that seemed a little par for the course since this whole thing has been murky on Ford’s end since the jump, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Seems like we have more information on here than the person I spoke to. Contemplating if the peace of mind is worth making the drive down and meeting with Brian. First conversation was solid - about communication and wanting to cultivate a reliable business relationship. Switched my reservation then POOF radio silence and ghosted order. Don’t get me wrong, a deal is a deal and we are getting a decent one, just thought we were navigating through the smoke and mirrors a little differently on this one.
