This week will go by so slow...

A couple more thoughts.
  • It's dark inside the Bronco. Not much, if any, interior lighting.
  • Wireless charging + Wireless Android Auto heats up the phone so much it's a net loss on battery charge. Went from 90+% to less than 20% in 5 hours.
  • Tried unsuccessfully to activate Ford Pass app at least half a dozen times over the 2 days. There is a thread on here with some trouble shooting ideas, like master reset and fuse pull.
  • Some high-low / mild bubbling on the spare tire sidewall. No confidence in these tires after a couple puncture reports and how light they are.
I agree, the interior lighting is miniscule
I had to stop using wireless android auto. I have a note 20 ultra which has a big battery and it just kills it, which really sucks because i really love the feature!!
I wont use the wireless charging pad, heats up the phone really bad....

Thanks. Yes.
There was another thread around here with a user commenting their iPhone also got very hot while using wireless carplay and wireless charging.

Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to de-activate or turn off Android Auto. Once you enable it, as soon as you get in the Bronco it activates. I'm leaning towards removing Android Auto and working with the Sync 4 navigation. Only deterrent is I know Google Maps does a decent job at avoiding traffic. Very helpful for long distance traveling.
Just go i to your phone settings search screen and put in android auto. Settings comes up and you can just turn off wireless in that setting

Im
I'm kinda bummed by this. It's always my goal to minimize the use of wires.
Guess I gotta lug my fast wired charger with me to Brewster when I pickup
I use the usb c to usb c on my phone and it fast charges from the center console. Just have a good cable and it seams that they all charge fast.

I had the note 20 ultra before my z fold3 now, and I do miss its battery

The fold doesn't have a bad battery. It lasts all day. But it seemed like the note20 Ultra only sipped the juice

Funny, i was just looked at the fold.
I broke the glass on the camera side and theninsurance doesnt have any and there are none anywhere!!! I have the 512gb
So was maybe thinking of trying the fold.
How do you like it?
What do you use it most for?
I am a contractor so the phone, email, dropbox and a proprietary building software in the cloud, plus camera. Love the camera on the note for the fisheye and just normal pictures

I went from Galaxy to note to now fold, increasing my use case each time
Honestly, hard to imagine going back to just a "phone"

This is like having a tablet with me at all times. Now my actual tablet (a surface) doesn't get used. I actually have no idea where it's at right now.
What I do with this phone that I didn't with my old phone is use it for work. The teams app and outlook app have a new desktop like layout. I mean this thing is unmatched for work and responding to emails. As a contractor I think you'll really enjoy it. Especially if you have to be versatile and mobile with clients n stuff

Pros
Multi tasking
Speed
So many use cases

Cons
Its heavier
Not sand proof (this will stay in my bag at the beach)

Reviews say the camera isn't as good as note20 but I've found no issues with it

If you go for the phone, you should probably get one of their heavy duty cases. The issue with sand is if it gets in the crevices, it can mess up the folding of the device

Let me know if you make the jump

Thanks, doing research now,
I always get otter box defender with a belt clip
If that's not available it will really put a negative towards the decision.
I am tough on my devices!!!!

Huh, might be a Brewster thing then
Oh. I guess I spoiled it for everyone still waiting. :(

In NJ, only highly trained, skilled professionals are allowed to pump gas. I was really caught off guard.

This week I drove across PA to Cleveland then to Dayton and back. I saw one full size Bronco, my first. A bunch of Bronco squirts, tons of Jeeps, lots of land rovers, even two hummers and two G wag-goons. I don't expect them to be on the highways but tons of Jeeps.
I drove to Pittsburgh this weekend and I didn’t see any
