No Assembly Line Photo :(

Here's what I'd like to do. Whoever got the LIghtning Blue 4 door First Edition picture on the assembly line, please post here so I can steal it and pretend it was mine :/

Ford sent me a photo from the assembly line, taken a few weeks ago. It definitely exists. They hadn't put the roof rack on it yet.

It started production 12/10/2021, became "built" 12/23/2021 and "shipped" 01/05/2022. Will supposedly get here sometime in the next two weeks.

Maybe these dates will help others figure out how long it takes to do all of this.

That's exactly what I did. Didn't get a assembly line photo so I just found one that looks exactly like mine, volla I have a assembly line photo. Kind of like when I was a kid and our dog died, my father had her cremated and when the vet handed him the ashes he asked how do I know it's actually our dog in here? The vet just smiled.

My pic shows the that the grill guard hoop is missing. Anyone know if this item is installed by the dealer?

There is a mod shop at MAP where those kind of things are done.

I thought for sure that I would have to go with a 2022 model with indefinite delivery date. Ford even sent me an email implying that was the case. Then a few weeks later they sent me a VIN and soon after that a build date in December. I feel fortunate that mine managed to make it through the system, and that it has been built.

But I'm still annoyed that it will likely be two more weeks before it makes it to Idaho and I'll actually own the thing.
