No cover on gas pedal?

I was happy to see very familiar rubber replaceable brake and clutch pedal covers, but when I looked at the gas pedal, it was completely bare. Just a thin piece of plastic, no rubber cover on it. I assume that's for safety so it doesn't get stuck. is that how everyone else's gas pedal is?

yeah I think you want some slip across the gas pedal vs the clutch or brake where you want good grip this let you feather the throttle better but i may be wrong lol
