I have the Ford Performance tune and I'm wondering if there's a way to be able to maintain boost when shifting gears. Even though I can shift very quickly, it's still enough time to go from 20 pounds of boost to zero and then I have to wait to build boost again each gear. Any ideas?
Maybe not the cheapest solution, but I would research to see if there's an aluminum flywheel available for this transmission.

Do you know the weight? I had an old odd-fire V6 with heavy flywheel for off-roading. Loved that engine on the trails, never wanted to die even at low rpm, that flywheel keep it turning over.
I do not. There was a thread (a year or so ago maybe) someone replacing their clutch and flywheel. If I recall the replacement clutch and flywheel were 10lbs lighter than the OEM

$1800?!?!! that's some serious bronco tax right there, oof.

Also, SB Clutch is good, but it's essentially just a stock clutch that's been heat treated to be a bit stiffer than stock. (going to a single mass is a nice help, though)
not true, SBC's clutch is completely different from stock.

Any word on the Downpipe development? Before I got rid of IG, they were screwing around with braptors, raptors and rangers instead of us

The 225ci V6 Jeep flywheels were reportedly around 50lbs. Not the ticket for fast rpm changes, but worked well off-road to keep things turning.

I test drive a manual Bronco off-road and it seemed strong, wanted to keep pulling, no issues killing it.

Interesting, in VW-land, it's 1000% a Sachs pressure plate and clutch with a single mass flywheel vs a dual-mass
